Wouldn't complain if we got Fraizer Campbell. He proved he can bang them in for fun at Championship level, and if we have money to spend then he'd be worth a punt, imo. Going into August with a strike force of Campbell, Carroll and Ranger wouldn't be too bad. Maybe add Jermaine Beckford to that list as well?

I cant say I was alive for this, but it still makes me proud hearing about it. By the sounds of it, that team should really have pushed on and bagged many more trophies... Maybe not, but he showed a severe lack of respect towards the people of Newcastle. He took us as a bunch of mugs who couldn't see what he was doing. Imo, he was an absolute disgrace of a chariman/owner, but not an inch on Ashley.

How's that old saying go again? Those you fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it? I think that applies to us more than ever at the moment. Obviously I'd rather have Shepherd over Ashley (my god its not even funny how desperate this situation has turned out to be) but he really is the last person I want to see near our club again.

Shearer is now on holiday in Portugal. Draw your own conclusions on that... I think its just a matter of time until they come out and say that we're screwed- because that's what we are....screwed. Once again our owners have found a way to fuck this club up even more! No words will fully justify my hatred for Ashley and Llambias, in my mind. 'Scum' would be going easy on them!

When people get a long sleeve, does it look good with a players name and number who doesn't normally wear a long sleeve? For example I want to get "Beye 21" on a long sleeve...

Even though he was our best player in that game and got our only goal later on? don't be daft man Played through the pain barrier for us, and looked our only striker likely to score under Shearer, despite performing poorly. Yes. If he'd scored the penalty it probably would've changed the game. We had them on the ropes and when he fluffed it for no other reason than he thought he was on the training ground heads dropped and Arsenal got a boost. Personally I think Viduka was our best striker at the arse end of the season and the few chances he had he made more compared to the handful of fantastic opportunities Martins missed in horrific fashion. Even now I still think "what if?" when I think of that chance Oba missed against Portsmouth a month back. 6 yards out and blazes it over....

Cant say I'll miss the bloke if he leaves. I was fairly mystified why he was brought in in the first place...

It all depends on whether we go into administration. If we do, then I think we'll plummet.....but if we find a buyer soon enough then we should be ok and push for a play-off place, imo.
