  1. Ryan Taylor is gonna get fucking demolished by Lennon. Its gonna be embarrassing. That's if we're playing 4-4-2
  2. Aye - complete miserable feckers. That's a great shame.....it used to be one of the most ferocious stands in the country.
  3. Imo, anything less than 3 points against Pompey will see us go down.

    Disrespectful little prick!
  5. Tbh, if the players are used to playing infront of 50,000 fans every second week then I'm sure their capable of playing infront of the TV cameras. We've been painfully shit this whole season, on TV or not.

good job 50,000 people didn't continue supporting the likes of McKeag, Seymour etc This IS your point ? I don't want to buy anything from Sports Direct.com but on the other hand I still watch the team as I always. It is at least one area where as "customers" we can go somewhere else. I have the power to lock this thread BTW Pardon me? It has nowt to do with Seymour and McKeag and if you feel that strongly about it all then chuck in your season ticket. I am sure that no-one at St James' will miss you tbh. Its a tad hypocrital to say you won't buy a shirt from the club shop but have no problems whacking 500 notes in Ashley's direction, no? I am not saying you should buy anything from Sports Direct. Personally that is your choice, as that will directly line Mike Ashley's pockets. I am asking why people think boycotting our club of revenue from merchandise is a good idea considering the person you are attempting to hurt financially is not taking money out of the club. Ok you don't agree with his management style, but do you honestly believe that depriving our club of a propotion of money that could be used for transfers/players wages/the wages of backroom and office staff is a good idea? Do you think Mike Ashley will direct money towards transfer fees etc if he has to put money in to cover general costs? Which should be the priority, the bills which cover the costs of running the club or bringing in new players? Seriously don't buy anything at all from Sports Direct if you don't want to, but depriving the club of cash because you "don't like the owner" is a stupid idea. Here we go, here we go, here we go, here we go, here we goooooooooooo!!! I would love to hear from anyone who can genuinely explain a good reason for boycotting the club's merchandise. What do they think it will gain? I boycotted buying anything from the club in the 06/07 season because of Shepherd. He WAS taking money out of the club- our money, my money- that was clear.

  8. You might be right there, Yorkie. Hull are bloody awful AND, look at the fixtures they having coming up I really think that they could be a more realistic contender for the drop than Sun'land.

www.wiggysports.co.uk Give them an email. I'm 90% sure they'll still have that style in stock, considering they can get hold of number styles from before there was a standard Premier League design. PS. that shirt was naff imo. The 'shield' on the back was hideous. Thanks a lot, mate. Yeah, in terms of the shield I know where your coming from...it looked fairly shit without a number on it but it was my first ever Toon shirt so its a bit special for me.

    Hillsborough

Its on there website, if its the same one, it says somthing like "One city, two clubs, one spirit - justice, at the bottom it has a picture of both scouse badges. That's absolutely brilliant. Nice one Everton fans!
  12. In this 4-3-1-2 formation, I really do think it could work with a midfield trio of: Guthrie---Butt---Nolan. Butt's defensive minded while Nolan doesn't attack for us (Tbh, I don't know what he does) and in Guthrie at least we'd have someone who can pass a ball. That formation would work so well with someone like Palacios instead of Butt or Nolan, imo...

Best shirt ever:http://i43.tinypic.com/2uf3bet.jpg Does anyone know a place that still does the old Premiership printing? i.e the style before 2 years ago? Because I'm wanting to buy one of those shirts and get 'Shearer 9' on the back... I was looking on classicfootballshirts.co.uk and some of those West Ham retro shirts are mint!
  14. Tbh, their all tossers. All as arrogant and pig-headed each other (OK, Allardyce edges it). Sky Sports is pretty much a tabloid, they blow incidents so much out of proportion its ridiculous. The only real difference between them and tabloid papers is that they have TV channels. But for Benitez to call Everton a 'small club' just shows how much of a prick he is. And imo, Allardyce deserves alll the shit that comes his way, he's a complete wanker.
  15. Whats the atmosphere like in the Gallowgate like these days? Are they still a bunch of miserable feckers?
  16. Aye, the clubs either shit scared of Al or he's going to be staying. Lets hope its both.

Great to see a bit of structure and professionalism brought to SJP.....about fucking time, like. It'll be great if we can stay up, let Shearer bring in some better players and kick on next season

    Hillsborough

If you look at any documentary of the disaster and see Hillsborough now, the Leppings Lane still has that same set out, the same tunnel that those people went into. It makes you shudder to think about it. My thoughts have been with the families of those involved today. Why not? My family still suffer with the loss of my uncle at Ibrox and that was 38 years ago. The scars still run deep. I'm sorry to hear that

    Crosses

Despite Owen's size, he's a great target man for crosses in the box. The same with Oba but I think Owen's more clinical.....remember his goal against the mackems last year? What a header!
  21. It's in South Africa mate. I know that. Dont get smart with me, you.
  22. I'm starting to look forward to this. I'll be in South America at the time so it should be fucking craaayzeeeeeeh!!

    Hillsborough

Not sure I even made it through three without welling up. Watching the footage this week has been quite surreal for me because Dave and I went right past Hillsborough twenty minutes before Sheff Wed's kick off on Saturday on the way to Stoke (first time I've seen it) and from the outside, it's never changed one bit. Whatever you think of LFC or the factors that caused the event, as a football fan, for 96 people to go to a game and not come home is one of the most tragic things I can imagine and just thinking about it makes me want to cry. Spot on.
