In fairness I'd dare say most NUFC players, along with most footballers full stop to their fair bit of community work, particularly the ones from the country they play their football, e.g. Nolan. Just hit and miss as to what gets reported and what doesn't.

I always thought R.Taylor was no more than an average player. Expecting him to suddenly work miracles seems a bit pointless. It's unlikely he's going to impress, he never particularly did at Wigan. Just, they were more stable, so he could be called "solid" as opposed to "s***e".

Warmed towards Roy Hodgson. His managerial ability is clear for all to see, keeping Fulham up last year, and guiding them to safety and even European contention this. Likeable guy, down-to-earth who just gets along doing his job. And doing that job very well by the looks of it. I'd have him at my club.
