  1. Shane Duffy? At Yeovil currently. He nearly died a few years ago - lost loads of blood after knacking his liver, freak training injury. So he's doing well to even be playing.
  2. Stones looks a damn good player.
  3. Wahey. Was a matter of time really.
  4. Grimsby beating Huddersfield.
  5. Evens for BTTS in our game is very generous.
  6. Odds of 7/1 are generous for QPR, that much is true.
  7. One thing to say is we look more than vulnerable when rotating our squad, which we have today. Yes, we should have enough to win still but doesn't often work like that.
  8. He's neither a Moyes or Martinez player. He's more of a total liability type of player.
  9. Sounds like bollocks. You really don't want him.
  10. We should have won it given how close we came on numerous occasions, but I guess in a similar way Stoke will say defensively they were superb and it's hard to argue with that. What was telling was after Mirallas hit the woodwork twice, when Stoke went ahead you'd be suspicious of our players thinking "well, just not our day", but we dug in and basically battered them for the last 20 minutes, the odd counter attack aside. Yeah, at least a couple of blocks were goal-saving ones from within the 6 yard box. As I say, some very impressive defending. On another note, Lukaku was again awful. He can be so lazy when he's laying it off to someone, and indeed one such lazy pass directly led to their goal. I also fear Pienaar's time is coming to an end, lost the ball on countless occasions. Just not the same player he was a couple of years ago. Mirallas is also very frustrating, he has all the tools to be class IMO but often makes the wrong decision - e.g. when he's behind the full back, tamely crossing it 'somewhere in the area' won't cut it. Need to be sharper.
  11. Oh btw, when I say I'm going to be manager, I hope the Reds aren't expecting any form of actual tactical knowledge or "management". I'll bring some Haribos though, obviously. Also given I'd guess the vast majority of the team will be older than me, I'm going to do well to command respect. Might ritually sacrifice Slim to show I mean business.
  12. I was surprised at just how much of a penalty it was. You're right as well, he was getting right stuck into our players, more than what you'd call general 'enthusiasm'. Anyway, point is Stoke are still a bunch of total cloggers, but they did defend extremely well yesterday. Shawcross in particular was great.
  13. Mole, I think you're a good guy, but sometimes you really do have this habit of coming across as an almighty dick.
  14. Well, Spurs over 1.5 goals in play went well, Rooney anytime less so. Awful performance from him, this stupid obsession with him playing in central midfield has to stop.
  15. Impressive start, but new manager bounce is super effective. Aye. Interested to see how they're doing in a month or two's time.
  16. Strange seeing Man Utd play so poorly at Old Trafford. Always used to be inevitable they'd at least draw if not win from losing positions, but they're just mediocre now. 4th defeat at home this'll be.
  17. Was that yet another dive from Januzaj?
  18. Where has this obsession with playing Rooney in a "quarterback" role come from? Just play him up front where he's best.
  19. Didn't this happen in Man Utd vs Spurs last year? 2 goals in a minute?
  20. Where on earth is Rooney supposed to be playing currently?
