I was about to stand up and applaud the goal he almost scored against us on Sunday. Would've been fucking outrageous.

But that's the point, dude. They've not beaten a single team around them this year. Why is that about to change? Granted, they've had some hard home games so purely by the law of averages they'll eventually win a couple. But to win the amount they need to win, I can't see it, especially given there is absolutely no sign of them picking up a few wins away from home - their one win being a gift against 10 men, and even then they were second best for much of the game. I think part of the mentality here might be that people just assume Sunderland won't go down as it's too good to be true for a Newcastle fan. Really, they're total turd and need a massive turnaround to accrue the points they'll need.
-
Their 3 wins have been single-goal "spirited" victories against top 8 teams, backs against the wall, relying on the other team missing chances and being vaguely solid. They've shown a total lack of quality and creativity to beat teams around them when the onus is on them to go and attack. Something major will have to change for them not to go down. They're awful.

Obviously biased but Barkley is fucking class. Just turned 20 and he's breezing past players, is extremely strong and just has a way of gliding with the ball which can't really be taught. Will be world class if he continues to develop like this (decision making and final pass needs some work, but hell, he's 20). Total fuckwittery if he isn't at the World Cup and providing his form doesn't drop off, it'd be insane not to at least have him as a primary option off the bench.

Lallana has really impressed me.

Happy to follow on that after the 180s bet the other day. In fairness for 2 currently (IMO) very even players, evens for the final score to be 6-4, 6-5, 4-6 or 5-6 is very generous.

They haven't beaten a single team around them. Clinging on for single goal victories vs top 6 teams isn't sustainable, but it does say much for how they set up as a team - i.e. a total lack of creativity to actually try to outplay a team.

Didn't impress at all in his first couple of months, but past couple he has really improved. Would like him to contribute more going forwards mind. Really was a great result today. Without Howard, Jagielka, Deulofeu, Barry, with Pienaar and Mirallas on the bench - that's arguably 6 first teamers not starting - we beat a very game Southampton side. They're possibly the best team to come to Goodison this year as well. Can feel hard done not getting something. Lallana, despite being a moaning prick, is damn fucking talented.

Pretty sure Mourinho plays dumb in interviews when it suits him.

Geoff Shreeves is such a cunt.

Lucas or Oscar?

They're about where people would think they would be, so 2-2 it is. They have to be considered title challengers due to a) how open it is at the top and b) having the best player in the world of the past couple of months in their team. Then again, Suarez has been rather a lot less effective in the past 2 games when he hasn't been against awful defenders. I don't think they'll win the title and I don't think they'll finish 2nd or even 3rd. Doesn't mean they won't challenge though.
-
0 points from their 2 big tests. Outside the top 4 at the halfway stage of the season - unsure how it can be anything other than 2-2.
-
That was a shite tackle by Oscar.

This lot were horrible little whingers in our game at the Emirates a few weeks ago. Rolling around, players mouthing off at every single decision, purely out of frustration at things not going right for them. They can be a really despicable bunch of wankers when they want to be, Arsenal.
-
99% of me wants Liverpool to get thrashed but 1% Skrige, 1% is rooting for them to draw.
-
If you're wanting to lay it, you can put some on the Chelsea/Liverpool double chance - that is, either Chelsea or Liverpool will win the game. But, as I say, even if you wanted to I'd personally want Spurs to be safely home.
-
Course you can - Chelsea/Liverpool double chance. That'd rely on Spurs being safely home, though.
-
He's going to get stick for that and rightly so. Who did he swap with? Suarez.
-
'kin' ell. What's that for? A grand? If it's a draw with not too long to go and Spurs have it wrapped up I'd be very tempted to lay.
-
Soldado from the spot again, 1-0.
-
Didn't see this response from Chelsea coming, fair play. Playing well.

You knew what was happening Ronaldo man.
