  1. Knowing that I win far more when I don't post my bet on here: Man City -1
  2. Few decent games around Europe tomorrow. Schalke v Leverkusen (5.30 - that or Palace v Sunderland, hmm), Juve v Lazio (7.45) and Sporting Lisbon v Benfica (8) all look decent enough if you fucking love football fucking loads, fuck.
  3. Man City 3-0 Hull City Cardiff City 2-1 Everton Newcastle 2-1 Fulham Norwich 1-1 Southampton West Ham 1-0 Stoke City Crystal Palace 1-1 Sunderland Liverpool 1-1 Man Utd West Brom 1-0 Swansea Arsenal 2-2 Tottenham
  4. Anyone get on the Paddy Power offer of 5/4 Chelsea double chance?
  5. Least surprising bet I think I've ever seen.

He's class in the role Moyes deployed him in, but unless you plan on dropping Rooney he won't be playing there. He found a niche at Everton which suits him down to the ground, honestly the lad needs to be extremely careful with his next career move. Very early days but he's looked out of place under Martinez, probably because he needs to show poise and composure on the ball.
  7. I can't put it past us selling, to be honest. Now that you gimps are obsessed with it being a double bid, it's all or nothing. The stupidity of it all being you need neither player.
  8. Would of thought Man Utd are the only ones interested. Think they've put a couple of bids in and had no joy. One of Everton's best players who wouldn't want to let him go. Personally I'd lay it off. (watch him sign for someone tomorrow ) I'm really torn. Man Utd seem very keen, just can't decide if it will actually happen. Might leave it another day or two and see if I can lay it off for a guaranteed profit. Lay. He ain't leaving. Except if he does.
  9. Zenit/AC Milan double went well, Sociedad-Lyon BTTS dramatically reduced the profit. Lyon are really not very good, it seems.
  10. Honestly, I don't know why more managers aren't like that in this sort of position. They've got a big club coming to their place, televised game, and said big club are in relatively poor shape. No reason he shouldn't be saying this sort of stuff, even if underneath he knows there's a decent chance you could stick a few past them. From his perspective, if you can't enjoy these games and look towards them with optimism then there's no point being in football.
  11. Already said no doubt, but Pardew on the ITV news just then saying Morecambe can "let their hair down". Dunno why that phrase amuses me so much.

Really hope Barkley gets a chance. Genuinely think he's that good, albeit I wonder if he'll get a chance again in the future if he doesn't happen to perform. i.e. hope we don't do the usual thing of thinking he's a world-beater and anything other than such a performance means he's not that good.

Big deal about Lambert getting picked last time out and no-one blinks about some of the shite from the "big" clubs getting picked time and time again.
  14. Have no idea why you wouldn't play a strong team in this situation. You need any sort of win just to give people a bit of a lift, shirley?
  15. Arguably one of the worst Premier League games in recent years, last night. Mourinho went for a point, while Man Utd also showed a distinct lack of urgency and quality. That said, it's what happens when you rely on players of the standard of Cleverley and Welbeck to break down a quality defensive side who are happy with a point. Rooney, to his credit, was Man Utd's best player. Valencia looked decent in the 2nd half. Is Kagawa secretly crocked or something? Absolutely mind-bending he doesn't get a game, let alone a start.
  16. 47 for GW2. Not great but one of those weeks which had the potential to be really low-scoring, so I'm not too disappointed with it. Just need to grind out some points when nothing particularly spectacular is happening.
  17. My pre-match b365 bet on Chelsea +3 (can't lose..... right? ) Think I might go 2-2 in play.
  18. RVP FGS @ 11/2 Dunno what the English translation is.
  19. Fucking hell. Gutted I can't get on that.
  20. How much? It's a joint bet with Prophet. But, err, it's comfortably over £200, put it that way. Part of me thinks because it's money we didn't have 24 hours ago that it's all fine, and the other part is questioning what the fucking hell I'm doing.
  21. Reminder for anyone who didn't know that bet365 have got their usual up to £50 bet offer on tonight.
  22. An unreasonable amount of money which was accrued yesterday all on Man Utd and Chelsea BTTS.
  23. Take your point but I think the game is developing at such a pace, Man Utd risk being left behind in terms of the top, elite teams. And for me, the main part of that development comes from an excellent central midfield who can dictate the pace of a game and have the ability to make things happen. I see very little happening from Man Utd's current midfield. Did Kagawa leave a turd on Ferguson's desk and now slept with Moyes' wife? Baffles me as to why he not only doesn't start, but is an instrumental player for them. If no significant addition is made in the next week, then Moyes has got one hell of a job on his hands to win the league, especially if - obvious but worth stating - Van Persie picks up an injury. Cleverley and Welbeck, man. I don't think myself and Froggy will ever agree on these two but the notion of them being regular starters for serious European contenders is frightening. Good luck to them, hope they do improve and get to the next level but I simply can not see it.
