  1. Torrential down South like. Where's your strawberries and cream now!? Hahaha! Haha. Ha.
  2. I thought he did well last year, and is likely to do even better this year - if Arsenal don't sign anyone, that is.
  3. Fortunate how it came to him but took full advantage, nice little finish. Good striker.
  4. Nah, they wouldn't dare RELEASE THE KRAKEN
  5. Nah, Arsenal will reign supreme in a fiery London lunchtime clash. .
  6. Coral: £10 pre-match bet on Fulham v Arsenal (any market), get a free £10 in-play bet.
  7. Aye, the one time you've come good for me! http://cdn1.sbnation.com/imported_assets/1223629/stone-cold-laughing_medium.gif
  8. Paddy Power: Place a bet of up to £10 on a 5 fold (or more) accumulator on this weekend's Premier League fixtures (outright win-draw-win selections) and if it loses, get a free bet on next weekend's games of the same stake. Basically a similar offer to Betvictor's from last week (anyone got their free £25 trebles to use tomorrow? ) but not quite as good. But still worth going for if you're intending on an audacious accy this weekend. Always worth keeping your eyes out for these offers. Plenty going on, particularly at the start of the season.
  9. No real need for a transfer. Made a bit of an error with Hooper in my starting 15 but in fairness he was expected to play originally, now definitely injured. But not desperate to get rid, no real need to yet. Would rather keep 2 transfers for next week. Tough captain choice this week. Gone for Silva. Could have been any of 4 or 5 players. Expecting a more testing weekend.
  10. GW2: Fulham 0-2 Arsenal Everton 2-1 West Brom Hull 0-1 Norwich Newcastle 2-1 West Ham Southampton 1-1 Sunderland Stoke City 0-0 Crystal Palace Aston Villa 1-2 Liverpool Cardiff 1-3 Man City Tottenham 3-2 Swansea Man Utd 1-1 Chelsea
  11. I like Ian Holloway and I think the feeling of "oh, he might not be as funny as many people first thought" is completely overplayed. He's an entertaining character, a decent manager and football is far better off with people like him.

On loan? Unsure why we're not in for him.
  13. Cheers, you useless Germans. No, really, thanks.
  14. 92. Really good, far higher than what an average week will be (60 would normally be consider a good, solid week). But I'm annoyed it's not 100+, damn me putting Bellamy ahead of Shaw in the subs.
  15. Schalke-PAOK BTTS looks good value later. Schalke leaking goals all over the place.

Walking down Northumberland Street and yes, there it is, a lion just sauntering out of HMV. Pardew's enjoying a steak bake, but it's the last steak bake he'll enjoy as Neesy charges into a bemused Alan and well, the rest is history.

Time for a bit of bias from myself, but Barkley was the best player on the pitch on Saturday. More impressive than Baines, Fellaini, Pienaar, Mirallas, or any Norwich player. Superb composure on the ball, played like a seasoned pro and a f***ing class goal. Yeah, a few errors but they came through a drive and ambition to make things happen, and something he'll - at this rate - pick up very fast. Delighted he looks like he's finally getting a consistent chance. Something he didn't get under Moyes. Wasn't he only playing becasue Gibsion was injured? Or is he now first choice pick? That remains to be seen, but he surely impressed him immensely. This however led to Fellaini playing deeper, as TCD mentioned, which hampered us greatly. So there are some bits to fit in the jigsaw yet. But individually he looked a class above nearly everyone on the pitch. Not bad for 19.
