All that matters is what we think, and we think that bid is derisory. Man Utd's personal opinion on what they're worth is meaningless. It is, though, clearly politics at work. Even if it was a million pound increase on Baines, why on earth do you think we'd accept that, after telling you where to go with your initial bid a few weeks ago? It's a flagrant lack of respect and as I mentioned, you've probably just strengthened our resolve. Btw, as I've said many, many times on here, I'm all too aware of Fellaini's limitations. The bottom line is though we don't want to sell either player. Feel free to get someone else - it'd suit all parties currently.

Oooh, lots of money, must be a good deal. Give over, man. The arrogance is from the club, mainly. I'm not saying it's Moyes directly as it's hard to say how much of a say he actually had in the details of the offer. The fans too exemplify this cringeworthy 'holier than thou' attitude. I'm sure there is a large section of support who think we should immediately accept the advances of the almighty Man Utd - and yes, that stereotype does exist, even if there are 'decent' Man Utd fans out there. It's startling levels of arrogance in one of 2 ways, if not both. Either warped delusion that you seriously thought we'd accept this, or a snide move to unsettle them and subsequently trying to knock the price down by turning the players' heads. If anything, you've just made us more entrenched in our mentality and you'll end up having to pay more. Come back when you can be bothered to treat us with an ounce of respect.

I'm sensing a common theme here.

Looking at it from my angle, it all depends how confident you are of getting a couple of good players in. If you aren't, then surely only accept completely silly money.
  5. 1/3 so far this weekend Soldado to score in a Spurs win @ 7/4 - pleasing 2 accumulators from Saturday - Hamburg, what the hell? However, got my "main" treble of West Ham, Chelsea and Man City to run. Worth betting on a draw?

They can pay a fuckload for Fellaini and they can be happy with him. Arrogant cunts.
  7. At such attractive odds, I've no idea why you wouldnt lay that if it was just that game you needed.
  8. Total scuff, fluky wanker. Fair result. Entertaining. Enjoyed it. Amazing what happens when you put your faith in a talented youngster.
  9. West Ham Chelsea -1 Man City Advance toward me brethren.
  10. Season bet: Swansea top 10 QPR promoted AC Milan to win Serie A Come at me.
  11. For tomorrow: QPR Burnley Peterborough Walsall Hamburg DNB Werder Bremen 4 folds, 5 folds, accy. Come at me.
  12. Clearly not. We're not even in The Battle for 4th. COPYRIGHT, TRADEMARK.
  13. Worrying how 19% of the population seriously think you, Arsenal or Spurs will win the league.
  14. Since everyone respects my predictions so much, I give you.... Neil's 5 Premier League bets to glory: Everton @ 9/2 to finish top 6 - too long, and would take that every time over Liverpool @ 1/3 Swansea to finish top 10 still available @ 7/4 at a number of places - crazy value. In fact, 2/1 with Winner. Villa are an equally appealing 23/10 for top 10. Top 12 is a much less appealing 8/11. In terms of top scorer, you'll have to look past RVP if you want any sort of value as he's predictably very short. Soldado @ 20/1 is a great shout for the more ambitious punters. Can get that at Coral and Youwin. For who wins it all, there's not much value as such as it's so concentrated. Chelsea for me, best price 5/2. ------------------------------- Agree, disagree? Stick your neck out and call the shots. Let's go fucking mental.
  15. Very early signs but Lyon looking pretty sharp this year.
  16. Gets to a point though where you've got to run with your team for a few weeks. That's why there are transfers; people will have half a different team by the end of September.
  17. There's an odd pause before you hear them cheer sometimes, which is quite weird. That'll be the speed of light > speed of sound. That old chestnut.
  18. Predicted this Lyon game goal by goal and have no money to show for it. I'll put something on in the 2nd half and the opposite will probably happen. £1 million on Lyon to score next.
  19. Decent BetVictor offer for anyone with an account/fancies joining. Place a treble on the PL matches this weekend (fuck off Lyon) of up to £25 and get a free treble for the same stake next weekend, regardless of the outcome of this weekend's treble.
  20. Hope that's not a sign of things to come this weekend; about to put some money on Sochaux-Lyon BTTS and Sochaux just score seconds before I can place the bet.

Parker's a completely different type of player to Danny Murphy. More defensive maybe. But Murphy developed into more of a holding midfielder as he aged. We're talking degrees, not "completely different." And I meant more as an aging central midfielder who can still play at this level, do the business for a mid-table side. TBF for me they were completely different midfielders. Parker is for me a holding midfielder while Danny was more of a Cabaye type or w/e you're going to call it at that age. Liked Murphy a lot, easily capable of playing a killer pass. More defensive as he got older, naturally, but still produced a good standard even a couple of years ago. Good player.
