Where did you get the Villa bet, Stu? I'm going in big on that.
-
For those who've watched him more than me, what's your verdict on Valbuena? Always impressed me whenever I've watched him. Doesn't get the plaudits he deserves, or do you reckon he's not that good?
-
Some of those winnings on BTTS in the Vasco and Fluminese games. Edit: quick lay bet on Coritiba not scoring @ 10/3. Turning into a very decent weekend this.
-
Waiting on Haugesund (1-0 up at home vs 10 men Honefoss) for £90. Had Schalke over 2.5 goals in play and Stromsgodset-Rosenborg BTTS.
-
3-3 now. Recommend watching for the last 15 mins.

Bloody brilliant opening weekend of Bundesliga football. Anyone watching Schalke v Hamburg? 2-2 HT. Class stuff.
-
Coventry 5-4 Bristol City currently.
-
Overall, about £100 up today. Dortmund and Leverkusen over 1.5 goals double, followed by Lyon/Monaco double this evening. Annoyed Crewe couldn't muster a goal given how much of a fetish they have for scoring (and conceding) them but never mind.

That line-up's nothing to Bragabout. http://i.imgur.com/wjANVCD.jpg

What are we? I NEED TO FUCKING KNOW!

Decent afternoon's work. Bundesliga came back with a bang. Keep an eye out on the overs markets there.
-
I can't believe I followed this.
-
I sense this is the difference between me and other gamblers.
-
Sense a few people won't mind 'Arry and his facking crutches for a while if his team knock one in.
-
Didn't bet on Crewe to go overs or BTTS in their first 2 games, goals galore. Include them today, nowt. I will take this back if they clobber one in in the last minute.
-
That'll do. Currently got another BTTS double of Sheff Wed-Burnley and MK Dons-Crewe (0-2, 1-0) and treble of Blackpool, Brighton and Watford (lot of work to do - all drawing)

Much in the idea that the pre-season is knacking your players? Seems an insane schedule.
-
PEA for Dortmund, 1-0.
-
Opening offering of Dortmund and Leverkusen both to score 2 or more.

Luiz was outstanding last season for club and country. Hummels can pass but is pretty poor defensively as Balotelli's domination of him in Euro 2012 and his many mistakes last season showed. He is a weak link for Dortmund IMO. Extremely generous appraisal of Luiz and a very harsh one of Hummels. Luiz was very good last year, but I think he's in danger of going into the overrated category because people see such an improvement from his calamitous early days. He has improved a hell of a lot, no doubt, but I don't think he's this world-class player people seem to paint him as. Not yet, anyway, happy to say that's changed in a year or so, if he does get to that level. For a centre back, Hummels all day long for me currently. Again, happy to change that if this season proves otherwise. Plus he's just cool. http://blogs.hr-online.de/sportschau-em2012/files/2012/06/hummels_ap1.jpg

Why? Why do you obviously have to donate 20 euros to the bookies?
-
Late to the show but: Luiz better than Hummels.

The thing that gets me every year is everyone spends so long deliberating over their line-up, but there's a big chance you'll have half a different team within 6 weeks.

That it was. Great for a couple of games. Quite good for a few. Then utter shite but a grafter for the rest. His touch is down there with the worst I've seen live in a Sunderland shirt. And I've seen Jeff Whitley and Christian Bassila play for us. So basically, teams worked him out very, very quickly and he had no plan B. Must say I've never seen the fuss about him. Guess he got tagged as an excellent prospect just because he's young.
