That's a problem we've had for a number of years now. Our chance conversion is shite for large parts of the season. I don't know what the stats are for that but trust me, we don't score enough for the amount of good positions we get ourselves into. The amount of times in the first halves of seasons in recent years we've had far the better of a game but drawn/lost it is beyond a joke. Problem is to get a real quality striker will take more money than we have.
-
I hope this isn't a sign of our decision making and finishing though. Monumental cock-ups of excellent situations.
-
Enjoyed watching us in this Champions Cup. As well as the obvious benefit of testing yourself against quality opposition, it's making me optimistic about the season ahead. Going to have to give the likes of Barkley and Deulofeu some time and be patient with them. Undoubted talent with both of them.

Burnley Yeovil Scunthorpe +1 Birmingham to score over 2.5 goals Fuck off Birmingham, wait until extra time to score 3, ey?
-
One goal away in each bet, quelle surprise.

Bournemouth Brentford BTTS in Grasshoppers-Lyon

It's a bit bizarre but I think it'll grow on me.

What an odd character. Seemed to be able to put in some fairly reasoned debate, and at the same time said stuff like "well I sang about Sir Bobby's death" and expects people not to give him a particularly hard time.
-
Thought he looked very decent at Boro but just hasn't kicked on since then. Depending on the fee and wages, he'd be a decent addition surely? Upgrade on Jonas I'd have thought?
-
Fucking Roma and their class kit. Middle kit is off the chart though. Sexy.
-
Miami. Jagielka is Will Smith.

I thought everyone did this on a daily basis? Maybe it's us standing TALL next to... 'Pool! Liverpool! Liverpool are shit! Yeah.

Move out the way Boca. http://d25yla7xp697oa.cloudfront.net/assets/_files/images/aug_13/efc__1375775724_jagskit.jpg

If Remy pulls out wide, it could work. Exciting trio.

Will NUFC finally score from a set penis? Yes. Several, in fact.

One of my favourite bits of non-NUFC commentary is him scoring on the last day of the season, "put through by Steve Bould, WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT?!" Yes, I fucking would, as our net bristles for the 4th time.
-
Good stuff mate, good stuff.
-
I can say from my position as an opposing team yes, yes he was. I know plenty of other clubs' fans did not like Robert playing against them one bit. Unnecessary smiley to finish.
-
Score? 1-2. Jelavic; Ronaldo, Ozil.
-
Anyone (well, Yanks probably) catch any of our game last night? Seeing your own team play Real Madrid gives you an idea of how good they are and how obscenely rapid they are on the counter. Fucking ridiculous. Thought we did very well though, could easily have taken it to penalties on another day.
-
My original £20 treble yesterday went down the shitter, but an in-play £50 @ 7/5 on Reading helped things out - cheers Danny. Looks like the bookies took a bit of a hiding yesterday, well played everyone. Starting to really fancy Chelsea for the league, think I'll construct a season bet or 2 tonight.
-
50/1 is too long for him, certainly. Think he'll bag a fair few goals this year. Opening day betting is fraught with danger. Won't stop me.
-
Been very quiet on the betting front for the past 4-6 weeks. NEW SEASON! :yao::yao::yao::yao::yao:
-
Yup. He's been very good for a number of years now and I can't work out why it's only been the past 12-18 months the media/public at large have cottoned to this fact. He's had some completely unjustified criticism in the past.

Playing Real Madrid Saturday night (1am), bring it on you fucking Spanish part-timers.
