  1. I'm on a mission for quite literally pounds - my name in lights will be just the starting moment in a campaign of terror I'm set to wage on the bookies.
  2. Yeah, David, there's a new hotshot in town. £18 profit yesterday suggests I'm invincible at this betting - Spurs will win 3-1. Do it. Well, don't. But do. Warning in advance: probably will be betting on you, suspiciously long odds.
  3. Seriously, Aidan McGeady at the fucking Nou Camp.
  4. I'd still happily take Clare Tomlinson.
  5. McGeady at the Nou Camp, this will be glorious.
  6. Yep, the ref got himself into a right mess. Must admit I was shouting "KICK HIM YOU FUCKING SHIT!" at Pienaar when that was happening.
  7. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/2895725.stm I count two bad decisions vs two decisions (though I am conveniently forgetting Gosling's handball from last season ) Ameobi's obscenely offside goal from a few years ago... We could play this game all day long. The bottom line yesterday is we had 2 clear goals chalked off hence we're obviously very annoyed we aren't sitting on 9 points. That unfortunately - and I say unfortunately because they're the talking points in what was a contender for the best game for the neutral so far this season - can't really be overlooked. Don't buy the "luck evens itself out" bollocks. It often doesn't and at the end of the season, that point gained for you and the 2 dropped from us here could prove pivotal in potential European qualification.
  8. I can't lie btw, Shola's chest assist was ridiculous. As I say, on the balance of chances overall a draw was a fair result, but no doubt those 2 decisions leave a very sour taste in the mouth. One I could have just about stomached but twice is taking the piss.
  9. No arguments from me on either. Moyes was right though, those poor decisions aside - you should have been well and truly out of sight by half-time. Would be pretty furious if I was an Everton fan. Capitalising on good performances/injury-free periods with points is imperative to a decent season IMO. You also would do well to get points when you're not in such good shape - like we currently are Pienaar's chance at the end of the first half sticks out. Just could see a comeback coming. Him missing that, Jelavic getting injured, an inevitable bollocking from Pardew. We're not a clinical side at all so a comeback wasn't unexpected. Reckon you'll look back on this point as huge come the end of the season. 5 points from 4 games including Spurs, Chelsea and Everton, the latter 2 being away, is hardly that bad a return, especially when playing poorly. Can see nothing other than a dry humping of Norwich at the weekend. Likewise, if we can beat Swansea I think we're going to have a class season. Can't feel sorry for ourselves.
  10. Thought it was a soft free kick, like a few of them were. Thought the ref generally had a stinker.
  11. Shame about those blunders because they took away from what was a class game. Credit is due for your 2nd half performance (Pardew obviously gave them an almighty bollocking, and rightly so) and a draw wasn't really an unfair result in terms of the balance of play and chances overall. From our POV, if we play like that for the rest of the season we will be sitting very pretty come May. Not sure why people are kidding themselves though about the Anichebe goal, it was a clear goal. I'm happy to be proved wrong but iirc it was clearly over. You certainly wouldn't be labelling it as "marginal" if the boot was on the other foot. The referee was also completely wrong about pulling the play back 10 seconds later - but the fact is that should never have come about as the goal should have been given. Just furthers the case for technology asap. The Fellaini goal was, obviously, a goal. Hibbert and Neville are like those 2 kids who were always picked last when choosing teams for footy in school.
  12. He's done it before against Kevin Doyle, jumped thinking he'd lob it but Doyle just rolled it under him.
  13. Very annoyed if we don't win this. Pienaar's selfishness could easily come back to bite us in the arse.
  14. Hope we fuck them up. Would love an unexpected impromptu footballing masterclass to silence the moron Everton minority who underrate our squad potential. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e376/olibeast/OhSnapBlackKid7478154.gif
  15. They're playing football, not washing themselves.
  16. Surely you'll just drop Fellaini back a little if you're struggling in there. But Phil Neville, in midfield.
