He is, but I'm hoping they use this as an opportunity to promote Baines to first choice. What sort of message does it send if we go back to Cole? Not saying Cole hasn't been or isn't still a very good player, btw.
-
Baines has been the best left back in the league for a couple of years now, it's about time he displaces Cole.

No happy medium with Dinho.

Oh yeah, I wouldn't at all say picking Osman at this point is the right to go. Just a massive slap in the face to people like him when you see the utter dross getting caps. Doesn't play for the right club, simple as that IMO Sadly, I think this holds weight. Doesn't get noticed as much because the media don't talk about him as much.

I can never resist the Lampard FGS bet for England. I seem to remember it coming up trumps a few times tbf, including last Friday.

I echo the right honourable gentleman's sentiments.

How on earth these jokers are getting a chance and Osman hasn't is beyond me. It's like manager after manager, regardless of their intelligence, pick random players based on them being in the media or having a "story". Lallana - newly promoted. Sterling - suddenly played a couple of games. Whereas players like Osman who've shown good technical ability in the Premier League for a good few years now are completely ignored.

All goals of the season after being shouted at to shoot from distance each time. Probably all preceded by a succession of Xavi-esque passes from him in the middle of the park.

The reality of the situation is if you're not in the CL and you have a very good player on your hands, they will to some degree want to play in the CL. Therefore, in that sense you'll have players who want to leave. It's an impossible situation though - how can Moyes seriously tell Fellaini he's going to achieve that with Everton? It's possible but very unlikely. It's sad really but that's where we're at. It's as though any good player will automatically float to the top, and it's up to other clubs - clubs of the ilk of Everton and Newcastle, for example - to get what they can out of them earlier in their career.

0-3 Tiote (3).

Had a small stake on various South American games yesterday. This Brazillian team (2nd division) had won 11 out of 11 games at home and sat 2nd. They were at home to a mid-table team who were in mediocre form. So obviously I had the home team in my bet. They lost 4-0.

It's ridiculous, he's got to be the 'bigger' man and resolve it. It's all because Fletcher pulled out of a friendly via txt message when he had just gone to the premiership. I think it's widely accepted that he would come back to play if Levein sorted it out. So it's Levein who's refusing to pick him? For some reason thought it was Fletcher being a knob.

Luis Fabiano has been comically bad.

Though I like the way you make it sound like you literally had £5 to your name and it was the very last roll of the dice.

Long - 5 year contract signed less than a year ago. Not surprising that a very good player who deserves to be playing at CL level wants to play at that level. Completely unnecessary him coming out with these comments though. Absolutely. Everton and Moyes should slap him with a fine. No place for these comments at this stage of the season. From Everton's point of view he'll be a marked man now as far as his performances and body language/behavior go. Any below par showings will be attributed to these comments and his desire to leave. Stupid. It's perhaps made worse because of the good start we've had. A poor performance at West Brom aside it's been very promising. This is a particularly poor time to be coming out with shite like this, just when it looks like things were going well and we had a good shot at challenging for the top 4/5/6.

Ronaldo unfortunately scores.

Funny if your players get injured between now and the next league games.

I've 6 matches from 10 in the JPT I picked from. 3 out of the 10 have had both teams score - none of them in my 6 fold ffs. Edit: IT'S ON, definitely going to win.

Got a fairly daft (fuck's sake Beren just seen your comment, fuck you* ) fiver on a 6 fold 'both teams to score' Games at: Carlisle Accrington Coventry Southend Pompey Northampton *

Players bottled it. They've been naive from back to front. I'll let you off this time, Neil. But if you try that again... Another heel turn's in the offing considering the next match coming up.
