  1. You don't say mate. If I had a spare £4m lying around I'd personally drive Adebayor to.... well, virtual nothingness.

  3. I'd definitely be getting rid of him, if I hadn't just transferred Yak in and now need to get rid of him instead.

From some bloke who is in the meeting: "The Rescue Group are pleading with the administrator not to liquidate." Not really sure how the situation can be rescued tbh, and if it was, it'd be delaying the inevitable.

This is utterly bizarre live coverage currently. Radio Tees. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/england/tees/

They're meeting the administrator at a "mystery location" in 20-30 minutes, this is ridiculous. Don't see how he can go back on it, mind.

They're meeting the administrator in 30 minutes time. This is bizarre stuff.

Darlo Rescue Group saying they're offering the money to keep the club going until the end of the month, but looks like the administrator has made the decision. Bizarre live coverage on Radio Tees currently saying how they'll know within the hour either way.

    Leon Best

The ideal position for you is he's there, available to come in as a 3rd choice striker and comes in and does a job, meaning Shola gets minimal time on the pitch. Looking at it from his point of view, he'll see it as a big blow that Cisse's come in, but I'm sure he's smart enough to know that's life. If he doesn't get much game time for the rest of the season (after Cisse is playing) then he could justifiably say, fuck this.

    Sunderland...

I think most people knew already of O'Neill's questionable dealings in his time at Villa but you can see why brummie and the likes of him were fed up with MO'N when you see a list like that. Garbage.
  14. FA: We have strict limits on.... "We're not fussed really." "He doesn't count." "OK he counts."

I've just realised a grave error in my Best gamble. I didn't say anything about specifically being at Newcastle all year.
  16. You're absolutely right, but I'm sure you can understand why we're terrified that it could be a case of "too good to be true". Of course, and I'm not saying positive stuff means you can't have big, big questions about how you've got to this point. But as I say, the bottom line is you're arguably the club progressing the most in the whole league at the moment, maybe alongside Spurs. Ashley has to take a great deal of credit for that. Of course he does. But will the credit due be the same if we end up losing Ba, Krul, Tiote or Coloccini? All credit will be given to the man if he can keep the group of lads together. Start selling, and we're in a precarious situation again. Thin line between love and hate. Yip. I guess we'll see how you stand on September 1st of this year.

  18. I can see why yous would be fuming with how he's acted over the years but maybe, just maybe, he knew what he was doing? The proof is in the pudding. You're 6th with a very decent looking team indeed and you're on the verge of getting a highly rated striker, as well as already having one of Europe's top scorers in the side. Not that I'm jealous at all, whatsoever.
