  1. What on earth are Dortmund playing at? Great ball there but a second shockingly bad finish.
  2. Dortmund-Arsenal has started very lively.
  3. Tiote has been very poor by his standards of last season but I definitely think teams have started to wise up against him. Pressure him quicker and his passing is frankly shite. On the ball he looks very limited.
  4. Conversely, QPR should be a bit worried really. Yes they played well but you lot were there for the taking a million times over, yet they couldn't score. Total lack of goals from the newly promoted teams, especially QPR and Swansea.
  5. Dortmund vs Arsenal as that'll be the one that's on the main channel, won't be able to get match choice on the 360.
  6. Tell your brother to get screwed.
  7. Everything that could've gone wrong did go wrong this week. Everyone raped me by having Rooney/Aguero, I'd have got considerably more points if Senderos hadn't have started like he did last week, Smalling comes on for 30 minutes preventing any points for Simpson or Shawcross from the bench, and more. Wildcard firmly played. Come here Wayne you bitch.
  8. The bonus points have been an absolute mess so far this season.

    Alan Pardew

Is this the classic "look at us getting a clean sheet away from home, our defence is solid" from Pardew? Your defence was anything but solid, and although I suppose he's saying that just for something to say, he'll know fine well it was purely QPR's awful finishing that gave you a point.
  10. R. Taylor was shite, yes, but I felt sorry for him. If Santon was fit enough for the bench, why wasn't he fit enough to either a) start or b) at least come on and try to improve that area instead of playing an already mediocre player out of position?
  11. They'd do well to be worse than they were on Saturday. Still can't believe we didn't win. Anyway, 2-1 to Villa.
  12. Thought Tiote in particular was poor, and has generally been mediocre this season so far.

    Leon Best

Played well last night in an otherwise poor team performance.
  14. In short, thought it was an entirely undeserved point but a point nonetheless. Could've been a lot worse. Still, a lot for Pardew to look at.
  15. As I've already said to you mate, I don't think you could have played Fulham at a better time. They're having a shaky start, are already generally awful away from home and had played a game in Ukraine 3 days previously. Not saying you didn't deserve to win the game because you did, but for me, tonight will be a more accurate yardstick. Going away to a newly promoted side at the start of a season and winning says to me that you're serious challengers for that 7th/8th position.
  16. I'll be impressed if you win tonight. Yes, you have a better team than QPR but it's not as simple as that. It's about showing that quality and delivering a composed, professional performance in front of a home crowd who will be optimistic due to the new takeover, being at the start of their first season back. If you want to progress and challenge for 7th/8th, these are the sorts of games you should be looking to win. This is a big test of where you're at, IMO.
  17. It's odd you say that VI. La Liga is getting a bit of a reputation of everyone being scared to play the big 2, yet this weekend saw 2 very commendable performances from Sociedad and Getafe. Reckon your lot got a bit complacent? Credit to Sociedad but still, you have to question why you didn't see that game out comfortably.

    Sunderland...

Wearside's posts can't even be called wind-ups anymore. They're so poor they're just desperate.
  19. Same. I'm almost being forced to use my wildcard this week. It's pretty damn annoying. You can have very little knowledge of football, just stick in a load of cloggers but make sure you have Rooney, Aguero and Young/Dzeko in and you'd be flying. No point at the moment trying to get a "balanced" team. /isdefinitelynotbitterfornothavingthoseplayers

    Sunderland...

So far this season: Richardson somehow not sent off despite being last man Bardsley rightly sent off for an awful challenge Larsson not sent off for a deliberate handball on the line Cattermole very fortunate not to have gone for numerous poor challenges Bardsley somehow not going for a stamp on Mata And all in only 4 games. Classy.

    Sunderland...

That's unbelievably malicious. And he is "one of Sunderland's best players". Jesus Christ, they wonder they're doing shite.
  22. When I look at Serie A, I see more good players outside the "elite" clubs than in England, for example. Napoli for example may not be a Milan or Inter but look at how many class players they have, and they proved it last year. The really big clubs don't seem to have an automatic monopoly on quality which makes for a much more open and unpredictable league.
