Ranger was one of your best players. He wasn't like. Can't fault his effort but there was no quality there. Whats your point? He more or less fell over or mis-controlled it whenever it came near him. Except he didn't. If you say so. I must of missed his dazzling quality. -

Ranger was one of your best players. He wasn't like. Can't fault his effort but there was no quality there. Except he was. Not outstanding but caused problems for the Arsenal defence. How can you single Ranger out for (unjustified) criticism ahead of Lovenkrands, Routledge and Taylor, to name 3? Like he say, can't fault his effort but there was zero quality there so I'd hardly say it was unjustified. I agree the three mentioned were poor for the most part though. -

His brightest moment of the match was where he went clear and took it rounded the keeper. Shame he didn't look up. -

Some thoughts on the match: Arsenal obviously deserved their win, 4-0 flattered them though. My favourite part of the game was even at three/four down we didn't give up, we were always willing to have a go. The second game changing goal was a fucking disgrace. Two offsides and a blatent foul in the build up. Was the highlight from another shite performance from the match officials. Perch had a good game, Vuckic looked decent too. Ranger was awful. Looks like Shola without the finish. -
A big improvement from him on Saturday. Just wish he could do it on a consistent basis.
-
Perch is a better defender than Ryan Taylor. Doesn't say much.
-
I wish we carried as much luck as the mackems.

Villa and first half against Stoke aside he's been pretty poor. Running into opposition players, cross field balls to no one, getting in the way when tracking back. He has more of an engine than Guthrie but it's about time Danny boy was given a chance along side Tiote.
-
Not sure he's warranting his place in the team, he's been fucking abysmal for a vast majority of the season.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

We're hardly going to have teams queuing up to sign him. Someone might think getting him away from the North East could solve his problems and take a chance on him. That's the problem I feel, Newcastle is just a city where if your a footballer you easily get spotted and can get into trouble easy. London aside, and even then people are always getting spotted, show me a city that isn't. Name me another football club that has so many players getting into trouble on night's out etc. Sunderland? Aye they've already had Ferdinand and Titus banged up this season. -

7-3 to the reds. They were the better team from start to finish, the blues never really got going. On a personal note I had a shitter, was expected though. -

Anyone got a pair of size 8/9 boots I can borrow please? Preferably the former, only got my trainers kicking about and they're s**** before you consider the wet ground. -

I can't run for longer than 30 seconds, and I'm not the type to power through, I'm the type to give up. Likelihood is I'll play very little of this game. What's up like? I'm fat and lazy, nothing medical... Fair play. -

Good news: I've shaken off the persistent ankle injury. Bad news: I'm a bit unfit and probably not as match sharp as I'd like to be. -

Ranger. -
To think City paid nearly forty million for those two.
-
It's a sorry state of affairs when Lescott, Barry, SWP and Davies make it onto the pitch at the same time.

I might take you up on that for the reds/blues match.
