They're playing a third choice keeper, have one fit CB, no fit RB, their best CM is suspended and their main playmaker has been ill all week. Meanwhile we've won five in a row, conceding one. The odds are vindicated. Subjectively, I'm a Newcastle United fan and I'm hyper aware of how good they are going forward. I've seen us not capitalise on these situations many times over the years, I'm taking nothing for granted.

Probably more to do with the fan base, one of the most entitled going. Ruin the good times with expectation and revel in the bad.
