More on the above from the original source. https://www.sofoot.com/breves/info-mercato-so-foot-patrick-zabi-pourrait-sengager-a-newcastle-et-rester-a-reims "Patrick Zabi is set to join Newcastle... and stay at Reims A trendy Patrick. We're not talking about Sébastien, Bruel or Dempsey, but rather Zabi, the Reims midfielder, who will be the subject of a transfer in the final hours of this winter transfer window . According to our information, English representatives were spotted in Reims on Monday attempting to finalize the transfer of the 19-year-old Ivorian player. Zabi is indeed set to sign a long-term contract with Newcastle (a four- or five-year deal is expected). Reims will still be able to count on him. Although the transfer fee has not been leaked, it could be a record sum in the history of Stade de Reims, with a price higher than that of Hugo Ekitiké when he left for PSG , i.e. more than 35 million euros. No need to panic for Reims in their quest for promotion back to Ligue 1: Zabi should finish the season in Champagne if the deal goes through. With 21 appearances, 2 goals, and 3 assists this season, he's a key player in Karel Geraerts' team."

Aye, as suspected, think him and Tino will be off in the summer. All about how we reinvest it.

"BOMBSHELLLLLL ! PATRICK ZABI SHOULD SIGN WITH NEWCASTLE ! The midfielder will be LOANED out for the end of the season to Reims. This should be the BIGGEST SALE IN THE HISTORY of Ligue 2."

To be fair, on his day, Sandro is very, very good and he was part of a formidable midfield three last season. But having had a good luck at him for a couple of season, with good recruitment, he's very replaceable. Not that I want to see him leave at all like, just wouldn't be as wounding as say Bruno or Isak.

Chelsea in for Endrick this summer.

The squad doesn't need major surgery, but we'll lack serious depth in defence if none of the out of contract players renew.

Baldwards has rubbished it.

A German journalist, an Italian player and agent, two English clubs. Hmm...

More of that continental value.

Class, thanks Rod. If I'm watching alone, I like to try and spot what we're trying to do, but I try to dial back the inner nerd when I'm in company.

Top servant, good luck sir. -
Be as cheeky as you like, I could be talking shite. We're following a fairly standard template by the looks of it. Out of possession, drop into a midblock, then a variation of 2-3-5 or 3-2-5 when we have the ball, depending on the positioning of the six (Bruno or Tonali). We've been much better at retaining possession, the problem has been that we're so slow to move the ball up the pitch, we allow the opposition to drop in (Man United and Wolves) so we don't create the intended overload or overwhelm the opposition defence. We've been far more purposeful in the last couple, but against Liverpool, combined with fatigue, that came at the cost of being too easy to counter attack.

I had my pitchfork ready.

We also played really well at Arsenal and fluffed a few good chances with Raya keeping them in it early doors.

From around Man United away, you could at least start to see a plan.

The evolution point is an interesting one. It hasn't always been successful, but there's been a clear development in the way we play of late, more so away from home.

To be fair, it's not uncommon for Trippier to lose his man these days.
-
They'll probably get a disgusting penalty on Wednesday to make up for it.
-
I mean, I posted before that happened, but yeah. Playing with ten men for five minutes v a goal that lets Spurs back into the game and an opportunity to make it 3-2.
-
City have been shafted today. The standard of officiating is so bad.
-
It's an own goal isn't it?
