I've enjoyed the season in parts, but it's been absolutely exhausting. With the sheer volume of fixtures, I'm starting to see why fans of the larger clubs take certain games for granted.

@HaydnNUFCI wasn't responding to your good self. I completely agree with your point It was more aimed at the comment about a number ten. There aren't many about these days and you'll barely ever see one play alongside a striker that isn't an absolute workhorse. Depressingly, to do so a modern day Premier League team would lose too much physicality. Creativity usually comes in the form of overloads these days. You need midfielders who are technically solid and move the ball efficiently up the park. In Bruno, we already have one of the best players in the league at doing so. It's a shit state of affairs mind, the old school number ten was an absolute joy to watch and sorely what football is missing at the moment.

An AM with Woltemade would be suicide mind. You wouldn't see a single team in the league trying it.
-
I've not watched much Serie A this season, but presumably Fabregas doesn't have too much experience of managing a two game a week schedule?
-
That rage won't bait itself, there's precious engagement on the line
-
Think it's a bit of column A, bit of column B. We leave him far too isolated at times, but he needs to become smarter around the penalty box. It's possible, Isak did it.
-
The Woltamade thread is *chef's kiss* at the moment.
-
I think our fans our great and would never childishly parrot their extremely negative takes back at them...
-
He's a £30 million to £35 million we paid £55 million for. He's never going to be "value" but he's better than his current performances suggest. You could say that about a handful of players at the moment mind.
-
It's not that bad like.
-
Are you familiar with the East Stand? i.e the groaning wall.
-
He's struggling at the moment for sure.
-
He's a lovely player. he just lacks top level experience. Vision, touch, dribbling, general technical ability. He does need to be smarter with his frame and attack the box better, but it's nothing that can't be coached. Of course doesn't help that we aren't getting bodies around him either.
-
Remember when he first signed and most said he might need a bit of time, patience and coaching, but he scored a couple so the Isak comparisons came out... He'll be reet.
-
We exaggerate the ability of the squad when we're on form and downplay it when we're not.
-
You took a ridiculously polarised stance and then claimed you were simply criticising Howe. Something like... "Eddie has got ut wrong tonight" Or "Why has he gone man to man v City?" ...probably wouldn't have been drawn much argument, for example.
-
Chucking the baby out with the bathwater?
-
I guess there's no wiggle room between Steve Bruce level performances and immune from criticism?

If the aim is to compete for top honours (i.e be in the conversation for the title) it took Arteta and Klopp around four years respectively, with pretty much an unlimited budget.
-
I don't really have any issues with what he's said, other than he's making a rod for his own back with fans, given expectations are already sky high.
-
I'm shocked anyone would expect Howe to discuss targets for the season mind.
-
He's doubling down.
