  1. Why the f*** are ashley bummers crawling out, on a day when he has again shown £> ambition for this club An Ashley bummer? I'm not his greatest fan but he hasn't done too much wrong on this occasion. nah just sold our best player- nowt is it. dont come back about that transfer request charade please ffs. Aye alright, don't let the truth of the matter obscure your agenda.

  3. To summarise: Neither club has said anything. Billy Bullshit has heard unconfirmed reports Carroll is travelling to the North West and SSN have said we would accept a bid of £35 million. Conflicting reports form the BBC and the Chronicle have stated Carroll's prefrence. In other words no one knows fuck all.
  4. I love it when mackems take the moral high ground over Barton. I don't condone his behaviour, he's a thug, but at least he accepts he has a problem and is taking active steps to do something about it. In terms of the other instances Coloccini and Willaimson unacceptably lost their heads and we paid the price for their absence, haven't a clue what Tiote has done wrong like. In other words I accept we're not a team of shrinking violets. On the other hand you have Cattermole who I've seen delibrately go into dangerous challanges on a number of occasions both at Wigan and Sunderland, sometimes he was punished sometimes he wasn't. Off the top of my head you've got Bramble accused of rape and Ferdinand who it seems can't be arsed to turn up for court when he's told to. Funnily enough look up an down the country and you'll probably see a similar patterns, sides with thugs, egos and your garden variety wankers. It's what happens when you give young lads money, some of them change for the better, some for the worst and some don't change at all sometimes remaining as that violent charver they always were.
  5. Wahey finally broke my duck, won £25 on: Leverkusen Millwall Colchester About fucking time.
  6. Suarez is a horrible little bastard, should fit into his new surroundings without much fuss.
  7. We still have to play them twice this season, taking that into account I think he's a fantastic player.
  8. http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2265103,00.html its def 11pm Does it close? I thought it SLAMMED shut.
  9. Bucketloads of experience, still better than Corluka or Hutton, the best this season at keeping Bale quiet, could be good for us for 18 months. On the forums the vast majority seem keen on the idea as well.. Having seen Hutton's positional play this season, that isn't really surprising.
  10. Everton probably can't get him out the door quick enough.
  11. I don't think this is particularly true. Spurs superior quality on the ball was there for all to see, however we had the better chances and were ultimately punished for not taking them.
  12. thing is when lennon plays down the left he can come inside or outside, it's easier to say "show him to the line" than to do it and best was getting slated off shola, barton, simpson and nolan for not giving any support down that side......and when he went off it didn't really change. simpson left isolated many times against a very good player.i can't blame simpson for their goal. Nah someone has to be to blame.
  13. He does, but he's been doing it a lot less frequently this season.
  14. I don't know but I've heard he's got a cracking cocker spaniel.
  15. You mention 'arm chair pundit stuff' then come out with that. Simpson backs off against everybody, it's hardly as if today is the first time he's done it. It seems he has to allow the person who's running at him to get into the box before he makes the decision to get closer to him which often leaves us with problems. I thought that was the case last season but he seems to be backing off more effectively at the moment generally speaking. Think I might of phrased that wrong, once we were stretched it was a lovely bit of individual play to exploit the space. Obviously it was an error that saw us caught so far up the field in the first place but I think it's harsh to be blaming Simpson or Williamson.

    Alan Pardew

In fairness he's got a shitty bench to work with.
  17. Correct me if I'm wrong but after givning the ball to Pinaar wasn't it him that went and retrieved the ball, making up for any form of error.
  18. Simpson has come on a ton from his performances last season, right back is no longer a priority. Some real arm chair pundit stuff in here though, sometimes you have to back off if you know the winger has superior pace and could get in behind easily. Today wasn't his greatest showing but he was against a winger who has give some of the best a torid time. Thought the goal had more to do with Lennon's quality then any form of defensive lapse as well.
