Thought Gourcuff had a good game. Was France's most dangerous player by a distance, doesn't say a lot like.

Emile's going to rip shit up.

Could well be that I'll be wrong here in the end, but I wouldn't put a bet on Klose. Horrible form at the moment. Has scored 2 goals during the whole season. Could well be that against Australia it will be the first and last time that he will start a match during the world cup. The media here really puts pressure on Jogi Löw to start Cacau as well. Could see him becoming nr.1 striker tbh. Still banging them in for Germany though. -
Same, I love the World Cup.

Some interesting bets tomorrow, won't be touching the results but here's a couple I've looked at with a view to having a sneaky couple of quid on: South Africa v. Mexico Mphela is South Africa's main goal threat. He's 11/5 to score at any time. Similarly Hernanadez is 12/5 to score at any time for Mexico, he has three in his last three. I've read a few column who have predicted a cagey low scoring affair, but I disagree. I think both sides will see this as a great oppertunity to get three points on the boards so 11/8 for over 2.5 goals looks tempting. Also with it being the opening game I can't see too many cards being flashed so I might have a look at under 4.5 bookings at 6/5. Uruguay v. France The first scorer market isn't great here but there's some value bets for a bit of daft. France can't defend set pieces for toffee and Lugano grabbed four goals in qualifying, he's 11/1 to score at any time or 28/1 to grab the first goal. This fixture has only produced six goals in it's last five games but I think the bookies have twigged onto this hence it being a shitty 13/20 for under 2.5 goals. France are also 1/2 not to keep a clean sheet which they've been struggling to do of late, I think they've kept one clean sheet in eight or something s*** like that. You can also lay France at 8/13. -
We've been through this, the 28th.

Quackers are you high?

Aye, anyone got a spare ticket for QPR on sunday, lower tier if you can . Funny you should mention that. I'll PM you my number.

It's the 28th isn't it?

I'll take that as a yes. Ignore him, he's a right wind up merchant. Why does everyone think I'm the wind up you're all winding me up. No one is winding you up but midds. The shirt is being worn on the last day of the season.

For me the hardest group to call is group A, have a feeling Uruguay may end up bottom though.

Agreed, Danny is a cracking footballer.

http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/3885/uruguaysystem.jpg Replace Nacho with Lodeiro and that will probably be their starting XI. Although in qualifying they did play a more orthadox 4-4-2 at times. http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/05/27/an-old-fashioned-3-5-2-for-uruguay/ There's some in depth analysis for how they've been playing in warm ups. Talented team, incredibly inconsistent though.

Have we got our scounts here then?

I don't know like I have such mixed feelings about the English football team. Don't get me wrong I'll suport them albeit not as enthusiastically as most but not as much as say the rugby or cricket teams. They're just such a bunch of hateable cunts.

Reckon Grp A is definitely the hardest to call. Could well end up going on games against each other. I think Italy will have to play well too, Paraguay and Slovakia are both handy sides these days.
