Keegan hasn't really said much wrong to be honest. He's basically said in his opinion he doesn't think Pardew will get any of the money but he's bound to be cynical given the circumstances surrounding his exit.

I see what you did there, clever.

At least they can drop Szczensy for Almunia...Fabianksi...err.... but still, at least if Koscielny needs a few games out they can bring in Squillaci...erm...Vermaelen...oh s***. Arsenal need new defender/GK ===> defence/GK have a few good games ===> Wenger has confidence in them ===> mistake(s) Option A: Get new, average defender. More mistakes. Option B: Keep faith in your already average backline. It's OK, you don't want to turn your back on them. More mistakes. Repeat to infinity. Keep the faith. The team is still young, remember? Absolutely. After all, this team is getting stronger mentally each year. ...and physically, just look at how many bookings Song has this season.

He fiddled with him at Newcastle. Filthy bastard.

Just to confirm what did Shearer say about Martins?
-
I must admit, I thought Martins was going to put it into orbit.

'Oba doesn't miss from there' Well...

The People? Really?

Read my longer post on p 208. That will give you some background info regarding Pards. And I disagree with you. He got plenty of competence. Every player that has played under him has pointed this out. It's his ego that has hurt him in the past, not lack of skills. Give him time..SAF was mm. from being sacked from Man U. That trophy saved him. So margins between success and failure is minimal sometimes.

I'm with EastEndGeordie on this one. Pardew's past record is everything even if he has learnt from his mistakes it doesn't matter, it's whats in the past that's important. He clearly isn't good enough, the fact we're only in contention for Europe is bitterly disappointing. Hughton would of had us in the top six no bother.

No meltdown just in a loyalty dispute with forgetful people with rose tinted glasses. Go back to bed N-O Mike Ashley has sorted it out, go back to bed N-O Mike Ashley has it sorted out, here's hours of Pardew talking go back to bed N-O Mike Ashley has sorted it out. Post of the year. An absolute abuse of Bill Hicks's genius if I've ever seen it. Bill knew about the stupidity of the masses and how they get happy over stupid s*** which could be applied to here. Elaborate. I'm off to get a beer.

He's got a point, under Hughton we beat arsenal away, under Pardew we only drew. Poor.

Also lost to Blackpool and Stoke at St James. What a daft post. Er how? The theme of the post I was responding to was about points we've dropped in games we might have expected more from. Why is it our devine right to 'expect' anything? Stoke are an established Premier League side and we probably dropped points against Blackpool because we had a similar attitude to the above. On that logic we should of beaten half the Premier League. -

Good point in the end, shame we didn't bag a couple when we were really on top in the first half. Ref was pissing me off mind, although he did get the sending off right. -
First away game, Boro in 2000 I think it was, we won 3-1. First home game was sometime later, our 6-2 thumping of Everton. Was well worth waiting for.

On a lighter note: Do we need a new open door policy?
