Probably not even a quarter of that unless we're back to doing Llambias math for transfer values. Was 3.5m total apparently and even that figure was inflated with performance clauses which we never paid obviously. https://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/newcastle-united-reach-ps35m-agreement-for-west-ham-celtic-target-as-player-completes-medical-4501350

Wut.

So to sum up the thread: Anthony Gordon is an overrated little Scouse twat but we got absolutely fleeced by getting 70 million for him. Makes sense.

Not sure how that will work since they still had to beat Hull regardless, and were only that close to start with because of the cheating

Wissa only signed a 3 year contract right? At least that will take a big chunk out of his book value. -

Surprised Conte wasn't parked up outside his house the second the announcement he was leaving came out. -
Imagine it was more the EFL telling them to come clean now or else they'll get the 12 inch dildo out if any subsequent charges came to light. I wonder if the exclusion from the play-off was due to the repeat offending.

We're hiring Mourinho? -
Explains England's batting collapse after lunch. Must've given them another one of his team talks.

Would be interesting to know what happened behind the scenes of this - every man and his dog have known about this for what... 4 months now? Wonder if there was an agreement with Forest that he finished off the window just been and laid some ground work for the next one. Either that or else they were just haggling over compensation but unlike Ashworth was professional enough to keep on with the present job.

Surely we're talking boycoutt level response?

Only shock on that list is Brewcie hasn't put his fat little head into that trough yet. -
Can't argue with that soundbite from Naglesmann there. At the end of the day, his is the only relevant voice out of Germany regarding Woltemade

Yep - i'd be very concerned if at 25 we are at the Ledley King point of his career of not training and playing once every 7 days.

They can call it the Saint Mike Ashley the Generous Memorial Stadium for all I care if fatty stumped up the right amount of cash.

Eddie Howe rope a dope masterstroke if you ask me. Saving the next one for next April at the Bernabau to to seal our spot in the CL Final.

Still only 25% of the club though - a voice at the table but no real authority if whoever is pulling the Lewis Family strings wants to swing their weight. The only shock I have is that it took this long - great on the commercial arm, but the football side has been a mess since he forced Poch out considering the amount they've spunked on transfers that never panned out, high profile managers cycled through every 18 months and the fan unrest. Guess they wanted him to take the fall for sacking Ange and this season before giving the next regime a "clean slate".

Especially since it was the club who allegedly offered Gordon to Liverpool during that mad June PSR scramble.
