He didnt need to anticipate anything, to give Murphy his dues. Murphy knew he'd pull back because he knows that's how good Isak is, and nodded a perfect header back and down for him. It was a fantastic assist.

It's mad how well he played. Back to his best and on his weaker side. I don't believe he's a better LB than RB at all as some have hinted. He's just not been at the level he has been in previous years. He'll be back playing that well at RB next year (or this year if injuries mean he goes back across).

Hasn't been shouted about as much mainly because of the performance of others, but he worked his fucking socks off. Him and Tino down that left hand side just made them worry all game long. Strong, direct, smart. I've not watched it all back but I'm sure he found Tino on every overlap. If he wanted to get to the line as well he got there. Of course he stepped up.

Just noticed him in the celebrations singing along to Home Newcastle with a scarf above his head. I want a Joelinton highlights reel of that performance and I want it now. What a man.
