The kid is class. If we want to be properly fucking serious, this is the depth we need and we need the players to agree with that, because they should be properly fucking serious. Next year is top 4 again and the highest position in that 4 we can, a cup run or two, and good progress in the CL. Huge summer but we've been smart and sorted a couple of positions with this kind of quality already, now we add more as we can. Gordon was shit hot last year but Barnes can probably count himself unlucky not to have had more starts and goals this season.

He could rather easily become our best ever centre midfielder (in my lifetime). Potentially by a distance. He's only getting better which is erotically frightening.
