Eh? Aren't you specifically reducing the incentive to try to score away from home ? Am I missing something?
-
Does that mean that the home team get an even bigger advantage in the second leg with extra time?
-
Met him in New York a few years back at a NY Spurs event. Diamond geezer. There were many in that team - Ardiles and Hughton are prime examples.
-
I'll hold my hands up - I really thought the Qatari team was predominantly "nationalized" but a bit of research suggests that most of the squad were born in Qatar.
-
Sterling really is just a kid and has barely played at all for us. I'd be interested to see how he does, but signing Grigg will presumably mean he won't get many starts.
-
 absolutely 100% spot on Not quite 100%. He missed the bit where Maja gets to live and work in Bordeaux instead of Sunderland, which would be pretty high up my list.
-
Isn't the second wildcard available for the rest of the season? Not that you shouldn't use it now, mind.
-
Any squads out there with some past blasts?
-
Albert Craig and Pat Heard weren't strikers mind, but that is an impressive list of shitness. Hoy George Riley and Tony Cunningham on that list too. Though i think Joselu is equally as shit as all of them, even Rob McDonald. Never considered Paul Moran a striker either. Didn't realize he went to you guys - he was a reserve for us for ever it seemed. Went to school near me but I never played against him because he was just a bit too old. Edit: One game for you on loan - seems a bit harsh to include him .

Mark Falco FFS.

74 only just got me into the top 500K for the week. The average score is brought down by all the guys who’ve given up.
-
West Bromich Albion? Uh huh.
-
Plus the Sanchez booking. I fucking wish it was the top six that got the comedy decisions. Some days it seems like Liverpool, Man U...and that's it.
-
Lamela has done the job before, to be fair, although yes, it’s a daft first question .
-
72pts so far with Sterling's last 20 mins to come. Decent, but a lot of passengers. My draft team is fucking shit . Just going to go for a Spurs line-up.
-
It’s all coming up Liverpool tbh.
-
We were after him for fucking years. It became a standing joke.
-
Yup, i’m on team “Ach-you-brought-Doherty-on-you-bastard”. Bennett on the bench.
-
Apparently Klopp said this the other day? “But we already have problems line-up wise. I saw Chelsea v Tottenham with both benches full of players I know, full squads. That means no kids around. Lucky them.” Utter bollocks.

My Dad's first ever match. Imagine that? All down hill from there on, although he did get to the '55 Cup Final. My Dad's was when we beat Everton 10-4. I did take an ex-girlfriend to her first ever match a while back. We scored three goals in the first eight minutes and I had to explain that it wasn't always like that. Fuck me, over 25 years ago .
-
1-0 at half time IIRC. Could have been more. Their goal was a blatant handball too .
-
Presumably you sit corrected then.

It's different. "reserves" haven't really existed as such for some time - if clubs want to have a proper "reserve" match they'd have to organize a friendly. There was an U-21 league but they changed it to U-23 a couple of years back, but you can still give a keeper and I think three over-age outfield players a game. There's also an U-18 league and most clubs run at the very least an U-16 or U-15 team too plus ones for younger kids. The Checkatrade rules are different - they are U-21 for the "invited" teams. I would guess that most clubs' U-23 team is predominantly U-21 eligible anyway. Another thing to consider is that the FA Youth Cup is - IIRC - U-19. You'll see slightly different teams in each competition.

He’d stroll into our starting XI. But no re-sale value so of course we’d not be interested. Would instantly be our best player by a country mile Terrible injury problems though. He'd be perfect for you if he could stay fit.

Nowhere near. You sure? The differential between resources is pretty significant now.
