It's comical when people talk about "rabid, obsessed, fascinated HBA lovers", when in fact it's the "rabid, obsessed, fascinated HBA haters" who constantly start this argument every 3 months. The main problem is that so much time has passed, with no obvious reason for either side to change their opinion. We just get the same arguments recycled endlessly, with no hope of resolution. Like somebody said, he's a poster child, a symbol representing missed opportunities, a style of football lost (to you guys at least) and mourned, and a style of management lost and unmourned. There's no point in having the same recycled arguments, they're never going to be resolved, but it's surely fine to just reminisce. Particularly as things are uninspiring now.

We used to go to Fulham Broadway and walk down, which is quite a bit further but there were a couple of really nice pubs on the way. The other side of the river is really nice too. One nice thing about most London grounds is you can have a pre-match pint/meal somewhere central and not be too far away from most grounds. Like, we'd always get a pint and food at somewhere like the Head of Steam near Euston in the morning and read the papers, then jump on the tube for Arsenal/Chelsea/Orient etc etc.

Fulham and QPR are a piece of piss. Wimbledon a bit tougher. If I were you I'd do Fulham, really nice area, some good pubs, and you can walk to the game along the river (or at least, you used to be able to).

And Liverpool beat Man City who beat you 4-1. It's not as simple as all that. Our league performance is almost identical, and we stuff them on the head-to-head. We can have an argument about who’s better, but Liverpool are not better than us “by far”. They’re just not . You could argue Spurs are better than Man Utd, yet you are 4 points behind. You could. I wouldn’t argue that we’re better than them by far though.
