Lavezzi has the tendancy to be a 'hot-air' kind of player. He's never really got going for a consistent period of time and he's never fulfilled the hype. He's talented, but at 25 he's hardly a prodigy anymore and really needs to get some consistency to his game.

The criticism he gets is usually pretty warranted, he's largely anonymous in most of the games he plays. Yesterday was a rare game where he was actively involved for 90 minutes, if he can keep it up then great.

I remember an £8 million figure being bandied about at one point, maybe that was just media speculation or something. £5 million is probably about his value. I think he's good player, never seen him have a bad game. Although you could probably give me an example.

The Martins "winner" at Wigan was pretty fantastic. Not a great goal, but a real powerful strike. What was the other this season? Barton against Villa surely warrants 'screamer' status.
