  1. I'd be fucking livid if we sold Guthrie tbh.
  2. To answer your question: he's a brilliant player. Extremely physically strong and remarkably technically gifted for a man with the build of a wrestler. He's only got one problem: discipline. He's always got a moment in a game where he loses it. Definitely good enough for the premiership though. From a Twente fan, he also said this though: Well you've got to pay what Twente wants for him first! Our chairman has a bit of reputation in terms of transfer negotiations. You''ll have to pay full whack (6-8 million) and you have to pay it in one go rather than in annual installments (clubs have tried that with us at which our chairman said: Who do they think we are? A bank?") So maybe it's bollocks.
  3. Would be a very good signing, hopefully we can get Ben Arfa aswell and I'll be a lot happier.

    Jonas Gutierrez

End of both their international careers, you'd think.
  5. Got very sloppy. I think Misimiovic has made a difference like, dunno why McClaren seemingly wants rid of him.
  6. Great technique from Mandzukic, very unlucky.
  7. They're called Almere City now, rather than Omniworld. livescore out of the loop... 12-1!
  8. Ah, Mr Routledge! He bombed spectacularly at VP - maybe because MoN "didn't like the look of him" (he was like that). I hope he has got his game together by now. Surely you'd be hoping otherwise? Considering he'll be up against your team in a few days! Not really. From what I've seen of him, the guy is not really Premiership class. you hope he has got his act together, but your not worried because he isnt premiership class? i dont know what that means. That's what I was wondering. Contradiction central.
  9. Voskamp having a canny game. Edit: It's his debut... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johan_Voskamp Look at his goalscoring record for his new club.
  10. Fair play, that is quite funny. Weird that nobody in the history of football has picked up the amazing benefits of the loan with compulsory purchase deal though. Dindane's loan to pompey was exactly that, play x number of games and they had to pay to make it permanent. Likewise Mensah's loan to Sunderland this season includes a clause to automatically trigger a permanent deal if he plays in 25 games. Mackems safe from that one then.
  11. Shearer scored 263 Premier League goals altogether.
  12. Love is a pretty ambiguous word really.

  14. The difference is exaggerated and mostly psychological. All games should be treat with same confidence, tbh. But they aren't and with good reason. It's too complex and varies from player to player and team to team. So might as well prepare properly eh. 4-4-1-1 with Nolan behind Carroll away from home then?

  16. I would treat home and away games the same if I was a manager.
