http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,43659.0.html His seventh signing You sign seven players you're bound to get a couple of good ones, especially for the prices paid. But the next most successful signing was Barton out of all those. Good transfer record? Beye was canny. -

Their respective longest-running top-flight teams record impliedly mocked our recent relegation season. -

I like the idea of that. A season of retribution. It's seemed very much that way so far. The combined axis of Sundervilla has already been well and truly torn to shreds and pissed all over. -
Opens the door for us tbh.

Fucking horrible bunch.
-
Pretty sure if you made a compilation against teams like that one where you just include bad decisions it would make the team look hard done by. Imagine ours for example.
-
Fucking cavemen deserve it.

Jonás Gutiérrez. "El Camino del Sueño" on a certain video site. Appears to be a documentary about him in Spanish, lots of footage from when he was a bairn playing small-sided games and interviews with his family. Wish it had subtitles.

You can have that stat. We'll take the important one. -
Compare and contrast the performances of Barton and Gutierrez in the past 3 matches. Simple as that. Both have played well. No doubt, but Barton has played almost every incisive pass, put in almost every decent delivery. Barton doesn't carry the ball as well as Jonas or put in as much of a shift defensively though (although he has worked hard).

Of course you would, you have an unrelenting agenda against Jonas.
-
He was the same at Inter. Miserable, petulant twat of a man. Immensely talented though, he'll be an entertaining watch this season for sure.

It is the mackem. Rade Prica. Goal machine in Norway.

Old habits die hard. Most people appear to be giving credit where it's due, which is nice to see. Not just about Shola as well. Exactly. I've been critical of Nolan as much as anybody in the past for example, but I cannot fault him at all at the moment and he deserves all the praise he's getting.

We don't need them but it'd certainly put us in a brilliant position if we got 4 from the next 2 matches, we remain unbeaten (to 5 league games) and our home form takes a sharp upturn after some unexpected defeats. Still think we revel in the underdog role too much. Yep. Next 2 games are against 2 very poor away sides, who are below us in the table. The pressure is now on us to perform and be the driving force in the game, big task to see if we can step up to the plate. -
He was excellent today, and has been for 3 games in a row now. How anybody can criticise him (or anybody today) is mental.
-
Yep, we should be tying down key players to long-term deals now. Coloccini will probably be more than happy enough finishing his career here, so make it happen big Mike.

If Newcastle were uprooted to Yorkshire I'd still be banging the f*** on about it 7 years later too. Exactly. The more people become apathetic and say "move on" or worse say the Franchise has worked the more chance there is of it becoming a precedent. It should never be forgotten because it should never happen again. It's still an absolute disgrace and always will be that there's a club in the football league that has been given a league place when everyone else has spent years or decades of hard work to earn it, including the team who's place they stole and who were made to spend eight years (or more) doing it all over again. It's the same with the 39th game nonsense, I've no idea why some supposed football fans don't seem to care about selling away the games rules and traditions just so the owners can make money. One game would just be the start and soon the game as you know it has completely gone. Spot on. The more football becomes like a business, the worse it becomes. Any football fan who views a club's identity through legal documention has got their attitudes bang out of order, imo. 'Spirit' and 'history' may be wishy washy terms to you but they mean a damn site more to football fans than any technical legalities.

He's no use for anybody wanting to have a dynamic, successful, allround team. Will work upfront on his own and with a system based around his strengths - that's it.
