  1. I think he's a cock smoker myself. So do I, he's an egotistical c*** who talks s**** to the media all the time, the daft t***. "Cock smoker" LOL "Egotistical C*** who talks s**** to the media" Which chairman doesn't ? You have to hand it to him - with Wigwam's attendances, like Wimbledon, totally dependent on visiting fans, and also like Wombles, they are a Div2 in the Prem, to be honest. Yet they stay there comfortably while we are in the Chumpionship. Says it all. He's done well with little while our chairmen have created a horror show from a LOT do you mean MK Dons? Wimbeldon are in the Blue Square Prem. He's talking about how the old Wimbledon survived in the Prem I think. They were a tiny team but survived in the Premiership for ages, despite very low attendances, like Wigan. MK Dons are a totally different prospect, they're a franchise supported by a bunch of plastic fans but could probably survive in the Prem due to their large catchment area. I have no doubt that they will be a Premiership team in 5 years. However, if you were just being pedantic and saying MK Dons are the continuation of Wimbledon, technically yeah, but they are an entirely new club really.
  2. However often Ibrahimovic has flopped in Europe he's still a class player. He practically carries Inter at times, creates and scores their goals, their entire attack is based around him. His control and technique are impecable, and on his day he can be spectaular. I just can't see him at Barca, their whole ethic is based around hard work, their players run, pressure and hastle players when they don't have the ball, right through the entire outfield they all work so hard. This could be where it doesn't work for Ibra, if he cannot adapt himself and learn to make an effort all of the time, aswell as deflate his enormous ego then he isn't gonna fit into that star-studded, but hard working Barca team. However if he does move, and he is a success at Barca, he will be spectacular for them. I actually see Forlan or Villa being better options for Barca. Forlan/Villa Ribery Messi That front 3 would be incredible, even more so than their current triumvirate.
  3. Sheffield F.C. are the oldest club in the world, had their 150th anniversery a year or so ago.
  4. I agree. I get the impression Lovenkrands hasn't really backtracked at all and that it was just his agent spouting off the usual agent shite. I mean, was there ever actual quotes from Lovenkrands saying that he wanted a new club?
  5. Watching Revista de la Liga and like you said it's unbelievable how similar their situation is to ours. Big fanbase, 52,000 seater stadium, fanatical city, spent big money on overrated s****, they've been ran farcically by their owner, and they even had an inexperienced manager brought in with 10 games to go.
  6. I tend to agree, the club accepted a bid for him, a relatively low bid in regards to English players infact. He was offered probably twice the money he'd be getting at Villa. So O'Neill was willing to let him go, he got offered crazy wages, what would you do in his position?
  7. Infact, scratch that, I was sure they'd finished 4th. But apparently they finished 5th. The table I saw calculated it on GD when infact it goes on Head to head.
  8. They're a modestly wealthy club who've had a great season from what I can see, they finished 4th, so have greater financial clowt this season, and will also be able to attract the players from being in the Champions League. The aren't a small club by any means, have a good history. Infact I think I'm right in saying they're the oldest club in Italy.
  9. What team did he come from? Not sure I'm familiar with him. I know he plays in Mexico and I want to say with Santos Laguna an average Mexican side, he seems good but a poor finisher. Yeah he plays for Santos Laguna. From what I've seen of him for Ecuador he's strong, powerful, quick, has all the right attributes to play in the Premier League, but his finishing can let him down. 10 goals in 17 games for Ecuador is nowt to be scoffed at mind. Also he's mint on FM.
  10. Birmingham sign Christian Benitez for £6.25 Million. The few times I've seen him on Sky he's been excellent, he looks like he'd suit the Premier League aswell.
  11. He's repeatedly rules himself out of managing Newcastle yet appears to jump at the chance of managing Sunderland. Aye, quite the 'diehard Geordie'.
  12. Aye class backheel, seems to have really peaked goalscoring wise under Mourinho this season.
  13. Oh for fucks sake. We just hop from one disaster to another. Very, very worried now.
  14. ITV HD wins the fight for me. Is ITV HD on Sky HD yet or not? If you've got the new EPG, u can get ITV HD. If you've not got the new EPG, you can't. Google it for instructions. Quality, got it now. Makes a difference from that fuzzy ITV shit. Cheers mate.

Get in Ranger All very promising stuff.
  17. If in the end we have to sell him, to most probably Arsenal, then we should try and negotiate a few of their youngsters on loan as part of the deal.

He joined the group 'Joseph Fritzl is a legend!!!' Something tells me he just accepts anything.
  19. This is funny actually. Wore my 95/96 shirt out and about yesterday and 3 times I was yelled at "Get that shit off" or "What you wearing that for man" etc. Couldn't tell whether they were serious or joking, either way they should fuck off. I'll wear the shirt, and I'll wear it proudly for fucks sake, what do they expect me to suddenly become ashamed of my team and of my area just because we were relegated, fuck off man. I agree with the original post, wear our colours and wear them with pride. Newcastle are our club no matter how shit we are or what division we are in!
