  1. Hope the atmosphere and intensity makes up for the lack of quality. Should be a good watch if thats the case
  2. Brian Homewood‏@brianhomewood·1 hr1 hour ago It's Malabo or bust. CAF award the Nations Cup to Equatorial Guinea, who were kicked out of the qualifiers for cheating. CAF are a phenomenal organisation. The jovial banter to FIFA's vile in the corruption stakes.
  3. Jess Ennis didnae bother this much when they signed convicted sex offender Marlon King. Guess she doesn't follow the football that much. edit: didn't even know King was back in the nick. What a fuck up that bloke is.
  4. Campbell's problem is his touch for me.
  5. They all want slapping after that, particularly Heardman. Shocking finishing.
  6. Eh? Really? He gets clapped on corners and stuff, aye.
  7. your stats are wrong he has 24 assists
  8. This. That's what Iniesta gets in Spain and that's as far as it goes.
  9. I'm not having a go man. I agree with you, I hate this opposition love in. Pisses me off with Gerrard at SJP every bloody year.
  10. All opposition players should be booed at all times. Expected better from the Turks, they should be throwing flares at him. Gone soft I guess.
  11. really hope Pele is alive when Neymar beats his record, much bitter
  12. Enrique had some incredible performances. Blackburn away in 2010/11 is one of the best I've seen from a full back. Loved Bernard though, him and Robert on the left was so enjoyable to watch. Blackburn supporting mate of mine mentioned that Enrique performance recently, saying it was one of the best he's seen from any player at Ewood. He was unbelievable that game like.
  13. Blyth on BBC, Gateshead on BT.
  14. London football journalists are the 4th Reich
  15. Exactly. He goes forward and with purpose, pisses all over the likes of Henderson.

    Sammy Ameobi

Compare him to somebody like Perez who in many ways should be more raw because he was dumped out of an academy system at 16, but he moves like a proper footballer with intelligence.
  17. aye the whole 'its like watching Brazil' thing needs a rethink.

    Sammy Ameobi

I don't often disagree with you Tooj but I do here. I think he gets cut more slack because he's an Ameobi, rather than the other way round. People were singing his name on Sunday for example. I actually think he's got skill and technical ability but he has no idea how to play in a match situation. None at all. His movement off and on the ball are all over the shop and it stands out in top flight football. His moments where he skins two or three players or smacks it off the bar from 25 yards are mixed in with a whole load of playing like a fan has wandered onto the pitch unfortunately.
  19. Obvs early days but I think Janmaat is by far the best of the 3.
