Ah OK. Why did you decide to support Newcastle over them?

Do you prefer Feyenoord to Ajax?
-
Nah not on UK telly. Catania - Juve is on ESPN now.

It's ridiculous how you can sign these absurdly talented players who then struggle to fit into the way of playing. Zlatan, Villa, Sanchez have all functioned to an extent but never as they have done elsewhere. Didn't Zlatan blame Messi? Not sure how he could have complained like, though his ego is obviously massive...

Did you see Chile - Argentina a few weeks ago? First half in particular he was fantastic to watch, like he was at Udinese. I just think his skillset is drilled out of him/underused in a team where Messi is the playmaker and everybody functions in such a particular style.
-
I think maybe Barca shouldn't have signed Sanchez. He's wasted in Barca's team a bit; being used largely a runner, grafter, dragger of defenders and front to goal finisher in the same way Pedro is. If you watched him for Udinese or for Chile he has good playmaking capabilities, is a fantastic dribbler, can take players out of the game with one v one skill (he doesn't do stepovers anymore really) and is devestating on the counter-attack. Most of these strengths he doesn't get to show as a cog in Barca's system.

Actually quite irritating they've amassed that points total despite being colossally shit and negative all season. We fucking gifted them 1 last week man.

Cesar isn't the player he was 2 or 3 years ago but he was excellent today. Made some great saves despite the commentators talking about how dodgy he was every couple of minutes.
-
Good to see Kanu and Bryan Robson's adoptive son doing the business for Reading again.
-
Arsenal been poor. You wouldn't think Wilshere was the one coming back from 17 months out, he's been there liveliest player by a fair bit.
-
Shola was always a centre forward too, even when he was stuck out wide. Sammy is a winger/wide forward in almost every sense of his play. He needs to be working on playing with his head up, his decision making and tactical discpline. He's massively raw and naive at the moment and needs a lot of maturing to do as a footballer. The physical side doesn't seem important compared to these factors.

They'll be getting rid of that forren lad in gerl next. "Well played Marty. Not eyvan a reyal country like, that beljum. FTB"
-
Should have just signed Thiago Silva in the summer.
-
It was so predictable as well. 4 year deal
-
Winners.
-
Strange conclusion considering he looks nothing like that as a footballer right now.
-
Ungrateful Argie kernt. He'll be asking for 'Malvinas' back soon.
-
You meaning the dribbling style? They have the same particular little shuffle with the ball.
-
Lets sign Sercan Sararer
-
Perch, Nolan, Coloccini & R.Taylor disagree. Enrique and Best too. Ryan Taylor is still the same player he was when he joined tbh. Solid, versatile professional with the penchant for the spectacular but generally an average footballer. He's just been around long enough to score his quota of screamers and put himself into folklore with THAT goal.
-
Wish I'd been around to see him at his peak. Very few people I've spoke to have somebody else as their greatest ever NUFC player.
