  1. Ignoring whether Bobby Robson should have went that summer for a second, I feel the worst decision was when Shepherd told the media that it was to be SBR's final season. You just don't do that. Yes we'd went downhill the previous season but I think a fair chunk of the blame for our poor form at the start of 04/05 could be attributed to Robson being completely undermined before we kicked a ball. Shepherd should have either got rid or kept his mouth shut. He chose to keep him on and act the knacker-job.
  2. Best: Keegan 4-3-3 at Birmingham Asprilla deciding to put his shirt on the corner flag that time, class Shepherd getting Bobby Robson in, better late than never Worst: Clive Tyldsley's mam and dad neglecting to have a rubber knocking about that faithful night, cheers you dafties (Soz for being such a broken record!)
  3. TYLDSLEY MAN FFS! Why would he bring Torres back on when he's just subbed him and seen 2 goals fly in? MUPPET.
  4. Aye Benitez wouldn't wipe his arse with the Champions League trophy
  5. An absolute tit of the highest order, Tyldsley. I'm new on here and I've only made about 5 posts, 2 or 3 of which have been slagging off this complete idiot.

I can forgive Tyldsley a few errors, it's all of the sycophantic arse-kissing that I can't stand.
  7. Clive Tyldsley sounds he's crying into a pillow
  8. The one thing you've got to say about Colocinni is that he's never hid. He's never been injured and he does look like he's trying, maybe too hard. I don't think it's possible that all the injuries we've had this season have been completely genuine so at least Colo's kept fit. Obviously that should just be a pre-requisite as a professional footballer but we've seen this not to be the case with certain individuals. I don't even know if Mark Viduka likes football but I'm sure he likes the money. But yeah he's struggling and I'd definitely go with Beye-S Taylor-Bassong-Enrique as soon as that's a possibility.
  9. Yeah, I got the impression with these lot that they picked and choosed when Arsenal was a part of their lives if you know what I mean. But they still shouted and all that as if they were fanatical about their football team. All talk and no substance, sums up a lot of the folk down here pretty well. Maybe i just experienced a bad, uncommited bunch today (this was Kingston not North London after all) but I wanted to leave the pub except for the fact that every other pub was showing the rugby! Rugby! You know, over football, mental. I can't remember ever being as arrogant when Newcastle were in the top 4. I expected to win sometimes but I never went on like it was a divine right and spoke like such an idiot about the opposition.
  10. I live in Kingston in Surrey atm and therefore watched this with a bunch of Arsenal 'fans'. Every last one of them was clueless. When it was 0-0, this absolute knacker-job behind me goes "just cos they're still drawing with us, the Newcastle fans think they're doing really well". And when we had a half-opening and our fans were encouraging us to go forward he was going "what they getting excited about?" in a mocking tone. The arrogance of them all was astonishing. If I'd been a bit more drunk and a bit less depressed I'd have turned around and said "that's not the f***ing point is it? We're third bottom, you're fourth top, we need any break we can get and you haven't any idea what you're on about". But as I say I was sober and wary and what difference would it have made? Instead I sat there and told my disinterested girlfriend that the pub was full of gobshites. I should say at this point that this lad only arrived at the pub at half time. When they scored the pub went mental. When we scored soon after I shouted YES, GETTTIN! The moron behind me shut up about Newcastle fans when he realised where I was from but was still a complete dick regardless. I'd have loved to have won if only to have surpressed their general smugness, but of course it means a hell of a lot more to me and to all of you than that. I guess my general point is that I hate that I couldn't have been up there today even though we lost. It completely depresses me that some clubs have far better teams than their fans deserve and vice versa. Our fans are not perfect but I'm certain that we care more than most. Maybe somehow with some twisted logic at play, that's to our detriment. But I can't for the life of me see how that works.
