Didn't know where to put this, but this is interesting (Guardian):

Find the threads on Smith,Nolan,Raylor and Duff and that blows your theory right out the window Aye but we hate them cos they're shit, whereas Martins is class and we hate him cos he's black, innit. Innit?

Totally can't believe that one like, hope it was a joke. Just as a side issue, hope to God we get rid of Beye, Bassong and that Nile Ranger - I absolutely hate them fuckers.

I see Newcastle's strip has been changed from Premiership teams to Football League teams on sportsdirect.com. Obviously makes sense but just an observation.

Would have liked to have seen Jagielka, Arteta and Yakubu fit for this game, we might have seen a different result.

Haha mint, wrong thread

Be careful lads. If we get into that conversation yet again then the planet Earth's going to get so bored and frustrated that it'll set itself on fire with petrol and we're all goners.

I share your hatred but to be fair Gray's never managed anyone. He famously turned down Everton a few years back because he loved it at Sky so much. He gets paid a fortune and Keys is too busy shaving his hands to tell him that he's being a knackerjob. -
Sunderland appoint Steve 'I bleed black and white' Bruce as new manager

Who the hell's his career advisor? -
Maybe that's what all this is down to, a bet. Ashley got into a discussion with someone who claimed geordies would turn up in their thousands to watch 11 black and white shirts on a washing line. They'd basically keep going, no matter what. And Ashley goes "wanna bet?" I reckon he bet about £300m or so.

You completely beat me to it there, reminds me of Cole in a lot of ways. Everyone went on about how Cole became a better all-round player (which was true) but he was never as dynamic or single-minded and would never get you 41 goals a season again. Maybe 41 goals was a 1 off in our life time anyway, but you get my drift. Summary: forget Newcastle, Man U ruin good players, fact. I feel the need to point out that that was a joke.

Pwnage: Barcelona bum Man Utd 2-0, win the CL
Interpolic replied to Taylor Swift's topic in Football
Interpolic shoved the pin into his face I think. Nah not guilty, I had to watch the last 20 mins with Irish commentary because ITV can't manage to stream a match on their own website (let my lass watch Apprentice like a right old gent). Absolute amateur knackerjobs ITV, don't know how they get away with it. -

Howay man, off his back mate Aye it was a bit far. But there was quite a lot in it. Ronaldo checked his run and barged into Puyol. The fact that he was saying it about Ronaldo, who was getting a taste of his own medicine pissed me right off. Nah not at all, I was only joking and you didn't go far enough... -

Tyldsley is clearly aching inside, spouting off omens like it's nobody's business. "Well Bayern Munich hit the woodwork that night I had the world's biggest wank, so..." "Man U have not lost a Champions League match in 2 years, breathe Clive breathe..." -
See, I agree with a lot of that but why you've seen fit to slag off Steven Taylor is beyond me. Because he's shit defender and has made to many mistakes being unaware of his team mates position for one. So fuck. Countless mistakes have been made on and off the pitch. Taylor's the least of our problems right now like. In fact he's one of the only players who's put in a respectable shift since Shearer came in.

I'm sat here still getting drunk, watching that 'Magpie Magic' dvd like an absolute sad case. Just putting off tomorrow when I wake up and reality bites at last. God, I'm still absolutely gutted.

Properly sums up the way I feel about Jonas, that. I reckon he'd have been ace in Robson's midfield for example. So Gutierrez is neither the disease nor the remedy really. I even reckon that extends to Collocini too - I think they'd both complement good players but we haven't really got any good players.
