  1. Aye they could have at least registered a new email prefix to avoid confusion, e.g. [email protected], [email protected] or just plain [email protected].
  2. It's crossed my mind but he'd have to be a richer man than that to carry out such spite. He surely thinks in cold, hard cash.
  3. I just can't believe Ashley came out with all that shite about how he'd made mistakes and he just keeps messing it up more and more. What serious party is going to be prevented from buying NUFC because they couldn't find a way of getting in touch? Which rich individual or consortium was 50/50 on buying NUFC and is now going "well we might as well go for it now lads, we've got the email address. Save on the phone minutes". It seriously seems like they're taking the piss here, I agree with other posters on that.
  4. Kills me that I don't know if you're kidding or not. Llambias would be stupid not to take an inquiry from [email protected] seriously. Fucking email. Yeah, load of bollocks. I only conduct business like this on Facebook, they know fuck all.
  5. As was mentioned earlier though, after June he's out of contract and therefore not our problem. We might have a problem getting rid of some of the high-earning wasters with years still on there contracts however.
  6. Anyone know of a torrent doing the rounds? I'm over in Oz and haven't got Foxtel. This, would really appreciate it if I could see this and can't find it anywhere.
  7. Spot on. I was devastated when we went down, then got a bit of optimism back as daft football fans do. Every day that goes by here is fucking up our chance of going up first time round. And if we don't go up this season, we're knackered cos it will get harder and harder. Absolutely infuriating times.

  9. http://www.thespoiler.co.uk/index.php/2009/06/03/open-for-business-alan-shearers-1-shop Just in case you were thinking about the mackems "ah bless them, let them have their little moment in the sun" and forgot why you hate these twats (unlikely, admittedly) click the link above. This was in The Sun today - I've got the pleasure of working with hilarious cockneys who inexplicably support Liverpool and he was only too keen to show it to me. Even in their moment of relative 'glory' the mackems can't help but focus their attentions on us. And btw I'm well aware that taking one daft shop owner as representative of their fans is hypocritical given the way that I know we're unfairly generalised in the media but they just seem small-time it's ridiculous. Can you imagine a similar stunt in Newcastle? I'd like to think that there are sections of their support that cringe at this stuff but occassionally dropping in on one of their forums suggests not.
  10. Didn't catch it properly but SSN just said Martins or his agent has claimed that Arsenal, Villa and Everton have all made enquiries about him.
  11. Aye, peoples' interpretations of that Barca-Chelsea semi have become tedious in the extreme.
  12. FFS whose bright idea was it to give computers to mackems?
  13. Only positive to come from Setanta showing Premier League games was that I got to meet Les Ferdinand. Him and Steve McManaman did the pundit stuff on a Newcastle 5.15 game and went to Tup Tup Palace that night. I was there with my lass when they walked in (I swear I only went once, true story). I bypassed McManaman pretty sharpish and went and shook the Les' hand. Was a bit mortified the next day when I realised that all I could muster was "Hi Les, you're... you're amazing", pretty sure he thought I was a right freak.
  14. Couldn't happen to a nicer or more competent channel... I was all for Sky having a bit of competition but they've made a right pig's ear of it from start to finish.
  15. The thinking man's messageboard?
  16. if thats right i cant see ours changing at all, we sit about mid table in that lot Does highest price not mean the most expensive season ticket at that club though? Rather than the average. Ipswich might sell a few for 700 quid but that doesn't necessarily reflect on the rest. The cheapest one at SJP's nearly 500 I thought... and the most expensive maybe double that. Might be wrong.
  17. Top notch gag that, don't worry - I clocked it.
  18. Wo, I'm more excited about next season now than ever! Just noticed that bit in bold as well. This Sports Direct company seems like a classy outfit.
  19. http://www.sportsdirect.com/Products/SD/PID-adidas+Newcastle+United+Home+Shirt+2009+2010-379061.aspx?ColCode=37906140 Wo, I'm more excited about next season now than ever!
  20. Didn't know where to put this, but this is interesting (Guardian):
  21. Find the threads on Smith,Nolan,Raylor and Duff and that blows your theory right out the window Aye but we hate them cos they're shit, whereas Martins is class and we hate him cos he's black, innit. Innit?
  22. Totally can't believe that one like, hope it was a joke. Just as a side issue, hope to God we get rid of Beye, Bassong and that Nile Ranger - I absolutely hate them fuckers.
  23. I see Newcastle's strip has been changed from Premiership teams to Football League teams on sportsdirect.com. Obviously makes sense but just an observation.
  24. Would have liked to have seen Jagielka, Arteta and Yakubu fit for this game, we might have seen a different result.
