It's just total and utter greed, that and self preservation in terms of wanting to make it even more of a closed shop up there. They already get additional revenue through various means including the CL and the gap between them and the rest in points terms last season was embarrassing. Measures should absolutely not be taken that would widen that gap still further.

Yeah, you don't expect results against the top 6 on a game by game basis but you do expect a few of them over the course of the season. They're not infallible and they will falter occasionally, it's vital to capitalise given that it makes up almost a third of our games. -
A migraine is not a headache. It sickens me how people don't know the difference. When you have a proper migraine you can't even see properly, you have the worst pain imaginable in your head which leads to vomiting and you're weak as fuck all the time. Taking pain killers does absolutely nothing unless you're in a very dark environment for a period of time and you may need to go to sleep for a while as well. Then you've pain in your head any time you move your head for about two days afterwards. I had these for years and it's genuinely no joke. He's in the perfect setting to shift one then.

Interview with him here from Feb this year: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/freddie-shepherd-interview-former-newcastle-chairman-talks-keegan-robson-mike-ashley-and-more-a7602556.html RIP to him, was around during an amazing time for the club.

The narrative will eventually be that Rafa is destabilising the club with his refusal to sign a deal, same as he was with his "moaning" in the summer. Never mind the fact we're run by the most mentally unstable fuckwit in English football, that'll be the story.

That last frame is tremendous.

WAT Honestly, man. Some people spend so much time trying to read between the lines they end up cross-eyed.

Diame appears to be the other option there at the minute. -

They were the pits as well, we were actually somehow even worse than the scorelines suggest. We do pick up the odd good result in this fixture though. Seem to remember that Given was actually MOTM for that 1-5 match as well... then he put a transfer request in afterwards. I was at that game and he was furious, proper Peter Kay hoofed it after one of the goals iirc. Could honestly have been 12 or 13-1, lots of clear chances squandered by them. -
Should change the rule there to "If the referee did not see it or the perpetrator is Aleksander Mitrovic..."

Depends where we are in the table and whether Ashley gambles on our future again.

I really don't want us signing another central midfielder before a number 10 and striker that are better than we have, and even after that I'd say the same for LB and GK before we even think about central midfield.

That's a good one, it's poncey as fuck. Again you can apply the Tyldesley Law - if he does it, it's wank.

[emoji38] This is hilarious for anyone that knows what you're on about.

If there's no retrospective ban then that's a pretty clear indication that the FA only react to whatever agenda the media is pushing in any given week.

FFS man, this poppy shit again

It's going to be a long hard season when your striker and number 10 don't appear to be capable of chipping in with many goals. I like both Perez and Joselu for what they offer the team but the summer just gone should have resulted in us having better options in both positions.

Agree that Shelvey and Merino looked good together, there's promise there. Thought Dunk was immense for them btw, gobbled everything up in the air. -

All of our away games have been similar tbh, fairly even games where we've played pretty well at times but had to absorb some pressure too. Obviously the first goal has won it each time too. Strange how few games we seem to draw under Benitez, would be nice to scrape a point from games like this and Huddersfield but then again we've got 3 points out of 9 on the road so far which is the same we'd have got for drawing all 3. -
