  1. He is playing well. Just a shit set piece putting us under pressure that caused us to be short at the back and now he's picked up his customary yellow card and he's been shit all match long. Not sure who was saying that? I agree in a way, there are 2 elements to him being worth a place in the side again: general form and not playing like an idiot.

  3. I'm just sick of him playing like a moron, I think he can pick up his form but half the battle is cutting that ridiculous stuff out.
  4. After the first 10 or so games we got good results playing some excellent football until the end of the season. We then started the next season very well, other than a 3-0 loss at Arsenal. Not sure what else you expected from him, we were clearly making progress.
  5. Anything else is revisionist tripe IMO, the start was a mess and the departure was a mess but howay. Coming from people who've watched some of the God-awful football we've played down the years, to call his whole 2nd stint shite or whatever is mental and can't be down to anything other than a grudge or some strange bitterness at not being there the first time around.
  6. Of course he was, I thought that was fairly universally accepted given how blindingly obvious it was.
  7. I agree his work should be celebrated, who knows if I'd be as big a fan as I am without the furore around our promotion season and "entertainers" tag. Saying that, I don't agree with the endless posts about how amazing a team we'd be if he was at the helm now, nor do I agree that we looked like an amazing side in his short, rather disastrous second coming. I don't believe KK was ever really cut out for the big, high pressure jobs, and I think that's only got worse over time. Anyway, more importantly, Happy Birthday Mr Kevin. I think that's bollocks, but obviously we'll never know since it's all opinions really. I see no reason why Keegan couldn't do a better job of it than most of the managers in the Premier League now, especially at our club. He's a fantastic motivator with a fearless approach, who also showed a bit of tactical flexibility last time he was here. I also doubt he'd have much problem working with loads of mint players. Xisco and Nacho weren't mint players and Keegan was clearly sick of getting lied to so packed it in.
  8. Mannn, sick of these games being on ESPN rather than Sky or terrestrial.
  9. what do you think actually happens when someone is arrested ? My understanding is that the vast majority of people play in a Europa League game the day after. Daft question, Alan_Shearer.
  10. Not necessarily, I've seen a good few examples of Ferguson setting his team up to defend like fuck at home to get a 0-0 or 1-0 against what you'd call fairly formidable European opposition, and manage it. It's an element of Ferguson's history that isn't mentioned within the wankfests.
  11. And seeing the opposite unfold before your eyes.
  12. Aye, we played at the Sporty for 6 weeks solid one summer, was class except when you fell over. Still felt mint playing in such decent facilities, mind. On days when there were only 2 of us there we'd nip over to the 5 aside pitches and play 1-on-1 where you weren't allowed to cross the half way line when attacking or go in your own box while defending, was a pretty good game that actually, high octane stuff.
  13. We called this Singles thing Coppers, double Coppers was usually the choice at school dinner time. Was proper mint.
  14. What's Parky done this week like?
  15. Honestly, hoy him in front of a train for all I care. Disgusting wanker, he's wound me up more in half an hour than any other footballer could.
