Bent and Defoe are notorious for giving a team goals and nothing else, sometimes at the detriment of the team. I rate both really highly as goalscorers and always have done but would agree with that general assessment. If you watched Cisse in that 433 last season and choose to put him in the same bracket then you need your head checked.

You might as well put an asterisk next to one match, every single week. You'll get 11 points more often than not, and not risk just getting 1 or 2 for the sake of getting 12 or 13. It would probably be better if the scoring was that you gained 10 points and lost 15 or something. I dunno, it's not broke so I don't get this.

Very well put, there's a few like that on here except most of them don't make any sense whatsoever.

Hmm yeah but by the same token, he's been completely useless this season which is either a blip or the start of a decline.

One of my big concerns (and this is admittedly becoming a bit of a cliche on here) is that he appears to have started well at all of the clubs he's been at before completely losing the plot and leaving the club in a right mess. I'd always feared that this was largely down to him talking a good game which will only last so long if there is not a lot of substance there to back it up. This is the next thing that I need him to prove me wrong on, the fact that I don't really like him aside I'd really like him to do so as it would save us changing manager, etc. Let's hope the board never leave him short again, and that that was the main reason he was shit this season, and that it's a coincidence his previous jobs have fizzled out. All of this is possible and I hope so but we'll see.

We've played fantastically well all season and every NUFC fan should be lining the streets queuing up to give the man a deeply apologetic rimjob.
