When are we ever going to win a trophy with this kind of attitude, seriously?
-
Confused about this Nedved thread business.

I agree with sicko2ndbest for once, I'd have been 'happy' with us selling Tiote or Cabaye for £20m, as long as it was early in the window and didn't leave us knackered. Seems like that's the only way we'll spend any money, and we'd have possibly brought in another 3-4 players and not have left ourselves so short. We're criminally short of quality depth at GK, centre half and up front and we'll be lucky to get away with the next few weeks without becoming a bit demoralised. I was at Norwich last season and it wasn't pretty.

It's black Jonas!

Ermahgerd, that beard is atrocious.

http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/nejournal/may2009/4/4/alan-shearer-900557071.jpg You serious pal? One of the only times I saw him go a bit fucking mental was when he scored against us for Blackburn.

What is his point, that fans were wrong to think we might not luck out with injuries for the 4th season in a row?

Defoe single-handedly saving my bacon on Fantasy Football.

Reading are all over the shop.

Dave wave. I'm sure I saw someone sat on the Spurs bench earlier who looked a lot like Jonas facially. May have had a different skin colour.

He was talking all summer about getting 2 or 3 first team players in, we got 1. Of course people are annoyed. We also lost some useful players.

In before the Dave.

"MAKE SOME NOOOIIIISSSSE!" Polite applause.

Was gonna say like, Hoddle's looking porky and very strange.

That's their thing. They're fucking wankers, can't stand it.

It must have been brought in 5-10 years ago. Has it led to an improvement in sportsmanship? No, it just looks nice for UEFA and the cameras. Honestly think it's pointless.
-
They never used to do the handshake before games, did they? I agree with Hughes that they should get rid of it, it's pointless and is now leading to daft situations.
-
Aye, so would I.

Yup, you've been done again. You're a complete cringe. Just stop it.

Yeah, the wages will keep going up. More and more money is coming the Premier League's way via TV and merchandise revenue. Matchday revenue is becoming a smaller and smaller proportion of the overall revenue of the average Premier League football club. But this extra money just goes into the pockets of players and wages and the ticket prices keep creeping up. And at the same time the TV revenue becomes more important to the clubs than matchday revenue, so the fans pay more yet get fucked about more on match times, games getting shifted around at short notice, etc. It's annoying but it'll continue down that road. The thing is that if everyone decided they were fed up with it and packed in going to games then there would be no product for the Premier League to sell, as who the fuck (in this country or otherwise) wants to watch matches with hardly any atmosphere? It'll never get to that though, football will always be popular.

Why don't you start your own forum? "NWOAT, why's the title changed, change the title FFS, lock this thread, too many threads, not enough threads, why are people on the internet being such geeks". Fucking hell, man.

Aye, and I look like Posh Spice.
