  1. Yeah, I'm going to play my wildcard then. Have picked my team and it looks good but will probably wait until next Friday in case of injuries, transfers, etc. Hart, Jaaskelainen Baines, Rangel, Coloccini, Vermaelen, McCartney Michu, Ben Arfa, Nasri, Allen, Fellaini Ba, Jelavic, Tevez
  2. Jelavic is £8.5m, stop it with your mind games Yorkie.
  3. Hmm seems a bit daft after 2 weeks but I'll consider it.
  4. Thats what your subs are for though mate. Say you had Hazard as a first sub, you would have got all his points from this weekend because Guthrie didn't play. My subs are crap or injured, I think I'm going to make about 4 or 5 changes this week and just take the hit.
  5. You don't get extra points for licking FF's arse, lads. Bloody sycophants. Nah in all seriousness I'm saying it's a crap rule, it (slightly) handicaps those who chose players from a game that is postponed and I don't see why that should be case.
  6. They could have remembered I had Pogrebnyak and Guthrie in the side and gave me their points retrospectively when the rearranged game is played. Not my fault it got called off, is it?
  7. "Sunderland v Reading has been postponed. Any players you have from these teams will score 0 in Gameweek 2 and be automatically substituted on Sunday evening if possible. Players will play twice in a future Gameweek, when the game is rescheduled." Erm excuse me, that's fucking shit.
  8. Gameweek 3: 1. 1-1 2. 2-1 3. 2-0 4. 2-2 5 1-1 6. 3-1 7. 1-2 8. 2-0 9. 0-1
  9. Personally disagree and don't even want Carroll back, sturridge is probably the most selfish player in the division. He can strike a ball and is fast but he's massively inconsistent and his attitude would really p*ss me off sturridge is desperate to be a first team regular and sees goals as the way to do it. at bolton he was fantastic, better than carroll was in his time here. Disagree with that.
  10. Hate Chelsea very nearly as much as I hate Sunderland. It's just one of those personal quirks. If the Russian fucked off and they went out of business I'd book a week's holiday to celebrate, sharpish. Everything about Chelsea is horrible and has been since I was about 11. Probably before but how would I know? Honesty I just hate them so much, they're the antithesis of NUFC on a number of levels and not just in a modern sense. Fucking daft cunts.
  11. Makes me so fucking angry.
  12. They were 2nd best for much of the game at Wigan, albeit after the game was pretty much won in the first 7 minutes.
  13. Bigi for me. Very impressive for such a young kid. 2pac for me. http://i.imgur.com/GqeFm.gif Branko wants that belt. Well he can piss off! Promo over. I don't know, IP. I think he got you. Areet Earl Hebner, do what you like with your stupid belt.

  15. 51 points which isn't brilliant but it's good by my standards. Colo being injured worked out well for me because it meant Guthrie came off the bench to earn 9 points.
  16. Technically he used it after less than one set of games. I think he's misunderstood the word "wildcard". What a wild man.

London's brilliant, can't see me possibly moving back to Newcastle until I've made the most of living down here and get a bit too old for it. Don't think I'd want to bring up kids down here and will never afford a house but I think I'd get pretty bored pretty quickly if I moved up any time soon, plus there are the job prospects or lack of them. As for footballers it depends on the personality. Career comes first but all things being equal on that score it depends what they want from life. Any player who picks a small club in London over a big club in the north probably needs to give their head a shake though.
  18. No difference to any other game. Man Utd will finish above both us and Everton so I'd rather old Purple Nose had taken the points. I'm just saying I'm not really concerned about any results other than our own at this stage of the season - Spurs could win at Everton, we could beat Man Utd at home again, whatever. 37 games left yet. Same goes for Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool getting beat, I'm not really fussed either way at this point. That didn't really happen marra Well not winning. A draw vs the mackems at home is a kick in the balls for them but I'm sure they'll cope.
