Boehly is either a genius businessman who people will emulate when his football finance master plan comes properly into view... or he's an absolute heed-the-ball. I know which my money is on!
-
It can still be a longer contract but there is a 5-year amortization limit
-
Not even a yellow and a free kick to Manure? The fucking game has gone!
-
He's a talent, no doubt and comes across as measured and intelligent in the interviews I've seen him give. But once he crosses that white line he becomes an absolutely insufferable, whining, cheating rat. Quite the Jekyll and Hyde.

Let's just keep a clean sheet!

I would like to finish above ManUre for the first time ever in the Premier League. A big paradigm shift, so a win here and away to Chelsea please!

Karius’ Mrs. Is a TV pundit in Italy isn’t she? I presume she wants him over there

Just want LiVARpool to lose!

We probably need another keeper if Dubs & Karius move on. I personally don't want Darlo back. We could also fulfill the home-grown quota by bringing Timmy or Frazer Forster back to the club as some have already pointed out earlier.

The PL will get a fifth place in 2024/2025 season apparently. But the whole of the CL format changes to a huge "Super League" format too

Agreed. I usually like James' take but this is horrific.

I loved that top personally. It looked fantastic on holiday.

You’re right this is what they all feared would happen. Fuck the lot of them!

Didn't Dyer say that Isak was "a dodgy purchase" from Newcastle? Eating his words now.
-
Probably been said earlier but Kane is an odious, dirty bastard. I know it's not PC to want a player seriously hurt but he doesn't care, so why should I?

I loved being in Level 7 next to the away fans before Ashley dispersed us all for singing horrible songs about him. Went to the Strawberry Corner for a season and enjoyed it.

Playing a high pressing tactic, as we do, is fatiguing on the players and it's starting to show through performance and injuries. Eddie will probably want to move to a position with a better caliber of squad, the high press becomes less important and we begin to dominate percieved weaker teams through posession of the ball and incisive attacking play like Man City have displayed for a long time.

Our owners clearly see this as a long term sustainable project. We should also treat it the same. I would love for us to get Champions League football well ahead of any reasonable timeline anyone put on it at the end of the season. It would allow us to potentially attract a level of player that would never dream of coming to Newcastle otherwise. But as the team/bench showed us yesterday we are ill prepared to sustain league, 2 X domestic cups and a european adventure next season. Major surgery on the squad is required and that scares the shit out of me. I hope the people in charge of this including Eddie can get it right. Allowing Shelvey to leave wasn't the best decision for the club but it was the right thing to do. Akin to the way we let Gavin Peacock leave all those years ago. If we "fail" to get top four I'll be disappointed, of course but it's just the start for this magnificent club

No injuries please.
