Going out on loan from a mid table team and returning to a top 4 side.

He’s tacked on mass.

We all know his limitations, add to that playing against the league leaders. He sounds like a great person to have in the squad. I can't remember where I read how much he contributes to team spirit. Probably go in the summer I think. I love the Newcastle link, so it's disappointing that he never cut it.

I saw a video from that Rory guy that supports Chelsea. Proper crying about how poor they've been. It proper baffles me that people aren't more accepting of change in the Prem. It's fucking great that the gap is closing between poorer sides and the elite. I'd like to think if Newcastle won a few league titles in a row, I would not moan about another team coming up and spoiling our party. The only decent thing about American sports is the variation of winners. There should be natural rotation. Surely people like Rory, who has transcended into a pundit, should welcome the competition. Makes for a better sport.

Do you really think it's likely that Eddie's constant FFP chat is enough to fool other clubs that we can't spend, and they'll not strong arm us over prices? We all know it and we're just some plebs on a forum. Ayoze, Bassong, Cabaye, Cisse, Tiote. Fuck, Schar is the best example of the lot. They were all bought on the cheap (I think...) and did well. We've already started the buying potential future wonder kids, and we've bought good players for fairly high fees. We just seem to be lacking in the 'unearthing gems' department. I love an underdog.

The way Eddie keeps mentioning FFP, seems we can't keep buying 40 million quid players all the time. Gotta start finding some cheaper gems that are already developed and ready to play first team football. I wonder if we have the scouting for it, or if that kind of player even exists anymore.

He is premier league quality though. He's playing in the prem for a top side, and has been class for most of this season. He's not perfect, even he would agree with that. And he'll know where he needs to improve if he wants to keep up with the rise of our club. Him being premier league quality isn't even an opinion. It's fact. Will he spend all of his career in top flight football? fuck if I know.

I really like Paul Dummet, and I was hoping he's get some game time here and there this season, maybe for sentimental reasons but as expected he can't shake his injuries anymore. I feel like we've had so many talented CBs that were criminally overlooked or fucked over. Schar could have so easily been in that group, but thank goodness Eddie isn't an utter moron.
