Let me guess, this fine is in the region of £45m.

Rail seats with the ability to lower the height of the rail would be the best way of getting the benefit of being able to sit and stand. I.E. Domestic and European football.

Most stands these days are too steep for standing as they have been made for seating. Level 7 is a good example of that. Maybe newer stadiums where the stands arn't so steep or lower level stands can be used for standing but not in most stadiums. The oly true way to have safe standing would be on a none steep stand with rows like they use for seating where it one person on each row then a full length stand stopping people from going into the row below. With that in mind I can't see how it's cheaper than seats as all your doing is replacing the seats with a safety fence. That's probably a good solution for stadiums that don't have steep stands like Wembley. Anyway people moan and groan about standing on a Metro or bus, standing around in crowds when they come out of a match, honestly I think it's more of a case of because people have been told that they can't stand is the very reason why they want to stand. If safe standing is implemented then I would say once the novelty has worn off most people wouldn't want it.

You're wrong on several levels. Firstly people aren't arguing for terracing, they want safe standing (which is what they have in Germany, not terraces). The argument is overwhelmingly in favour of safe standing, it is safe, cheaper and is what people want. If you don't agree I suggest you pay attention next time you watch MOTD and see how many people stand in the premier league. We're talking about full stands as well, not just a few blocks. Not to mention most away crowds will stand all game. Search on Youtube for safe standing if you want to learn more. So I'm supposed to look at a video on youtube thats biased in the fact that it wants to bring back safe standing made by supporters of safe standing and not actually take into account the other facts around safe standing that is ignored by these youtube videos and has not been carried out by an independent survey?

I don't mind standing up for chants etc, but standing there just watching isn't for me and I can't stand people who do it in front of people, either forcing them up or blocking their view. I also hate those people who want to be first in the queue for stuff at half time or first on the Metro/bus or too their cars and stand near the exits but block people's views. I've yet to see a a real argument safety wise for terracing and they do it in Germany isn't a valid argument. Crystal Palace have wooden seats, doesn't mean to say they are very safe especially if theirs a fire.

Me and Set had some chivvy teens in front of us yesterday, one of them was screaming songs out like a fucking idiot. I honestly didn't know if he was just attention seeking or if he was special. The lass next to him who came with someone else didn't look to impressed and they wouldn't sit the fuck down. Thank god they fucked off to somewhere else in the ground about a minute into the game.

Bold/bald. Seriously, did anyone see him on MOTD tonight?

I'd take a draw now and I think it will be a draw. Both teams seems to have nothing special at them moment. Since we have came up all the pressure in the derbies have been on them. The first game they were favourites because we were newly promoted and we ended up hammering them, the 2nd game they were giving it all the big talk that they were going to get revenge and on top of that we were at their place which made them favourites again and they were lucky they got the point they did. On Saturday they will be favourites after having a good summer in terms of bringing numbers in and we would have had a bad one (regardless of weather or not we have a LB and/or a forward in by then) and again I think they will fuck it up.

Van Persie starts and is captain for Arsenal today.
-
Paul I fucking love Arsenal Merson, and Phil I only have inside information on Liverpool because I love them so much my nose is up their fucking ass and I hate Newcastle with a passion Thompson. Like they don't have biased opinions.

Just to get us in the mood. [link] [/link]

Didn't fans fc break the Obertan deal then RMC picked up on it a couple of days later?
-
No, not one, not even Championship games.

Phil Thompson. The biggest Liverpool brown noser ever. Also for some reason he fucking hates us, he doesn't have a single nice thing to say about us ever. Honestly how the fuck does he have a job with Sky sports?, he is the most biased idiot ever. I mean I'm an idiot at times but fucking hell, him, he's just unbelievable. I can't wait for the day he fucks off into nothingness.

I know Arsenal have quit a few players out but I just can't see us winning this one. If we kept Enrique for this game and sold him on Sunday then I would be more confident, but I jet think that we have a real weakness on the left and maybe Arsenal's backup squad will be good enough to either win this game or at least draw. I'm hoping that I'm proved wrong and we get a good result, but as it stands I would take a draw right now and hope that this time we don't have to come from 4-0 down.

What can I say, in my opinion I didn't think you would be able to understand a higher form of wit, sarcasim and other lower forms is where I thought your level is so I decided to try and not to confuse you.

Ashley: "20p is our bid". Arsenal: "£9m". Ashley: "99p".
-
If we are after Bendtner then I can't see Arsenal allowing the transfer to go through in time for him to play against them.
-
Agh fuck I've just seen who is reporting this, fuck.

Yaya Sanogo is/was highly rated. If we got him I would be very happy and it would start giving me more faith in the regime and the squad capabilities.

I am friends with a sports agents who is the UK representative/agent for Maldini, and Franco Baresi. He is also on speaking terms with a prince from UAE, and is the agent of Lee Sharp and was even given a pet dog by him. I also used to play football with Jack Colback.

Don't worry he'll somehow manage to score and tomorrow's headlines will be. "Hahaha Newcastle, Nolan becomes a West Ham legend as the ball hits his arse and somehow goes over the line, I bet you wish you didn't sell now e? you stupid Norther monkey's".

This game is shit, and to think I was looking forward to get back to watching football. All hope lies on Newcastle now.
