  1. Probably, did Ashley find 50p down the back of the sofa and after he took hi share out he thought it was only right to give the 3p remaining to the club?
  2. Whats with people thinking the bore hole has something to do with NUFC in anyway? NUFC have nothing to do with it, it's down to a company called Downing and Newcastle Uni.
  3. They've struck oil from it! were rich All the money will be invested within the club as well. Our training ground is going to have the best astroturf going.
  4. I don't want Long here, I doubt he's cut out for the Premiership and if he it will be for a lower end club or as a squad player. He's no better than say Shola.
  5. Liverpool, even though he can go for free Liverpool will make a bid in the region of £15m-£35m.
  6. I wish that guy would fuck off. You've seen whats happened and you have picked a name out of the hat.
  7. Absolutely no question that Barton's a grafter tbh. I'd honestly say he's just about the biggest grafter in the side. When he played out wide last season, he covered absolutely shitloads of ground. Always an option in the middle... tucked in when we're in possession... then tracking back out wide on the defensive. Shitloads of stamina, shitloads of graft. I'd argue that it's one of the things we'll miss the most from him because, personally, i thought his service was a touch inconsistent - certainly in play. Nah Tiote was a better grafter.
  8. Look, I'm stupid, but not stupid enough to support those who shall not be named, give me a chance.
  9. Bentley and Barton are polar fucking opposites. Bentley is the epitome of a spice boy, a total flair player. Barton is a grafter. On the ball is what I meant. Paceless, doesn't beat a man particular but has the occaisonal world class delivery and can influence a game heavily from out wide at the peak of their powers. You have just described Nolan. I agree with you though that Barton was more of a workhorse, but it's obvious the club/manager wants to try and lay more attractive football. Bentley would be a good step in the right direction as Barton replacement. Eh? How on earth has he just described Nolan? In bold.

  11. Bentley would create more than Barton. Barton's creativity wasn't there after Carroll left, Bentley I believe could help build up play better and create more chances than Barton.
  12. Barton leaving would free up wages for Ireland. I can see him coming to us now.
  13. I constantly slag off my bosses on Twitter, Facebook, work forums and in emails to them. I also go on strike when my terms aren't improved year on year. It's the other way round really, no employer can expect to receive universal praise from all their employees, but they should cater to the most talented people in their employment. I slag my boss off to his face, but it's called friendly banter. Theirs a difference between me calling him a dirty Mackem and him calling me a Geordie bastard than what Barton has just done.
  14. I've just heard about this. On one hand all he said was what the supporters were thinking, but also it's worth noting that the transfer window isn't close yet and most clubs haven't concluded or even started their serious business. The same could very well be for us. Also you just can't go around saying things about the owners and expect to get away scot free. The owner is the same owner who stood by Barton when he went to prison and if I'm right then he's also the guy who brought him here after a terrible year or two at City where he was getting into the papers for all the wrong things. Rightly or wrongly Barton should have raised his concerns with the owners himself and if nothing was done about then he should have looked to leave and not said anything until he did so. It's a bold move by Ashley and no matter what actions he took with Barton he would have a group of supporters on his back about the matter.
  15. He came into where I work tonight, bought a bread bun and some grated cheese.
  16. Group C is the group of death.
  17. I'm not going to get into all of the rumours, but at the time it was pretty obvious that the only sticking point was the contract length and not the money.
  18. Kevin Phillips and Dwight York are pundits for Soccer Saturday.
  19. Imagine if we did comeback from 4-0 down to win 5-4, it would take the 4-3 defeats off Liverpool off the "lets play it as often we can list."
  20. Random guess. England France Israel Scotland Armenia Malta
  21. On the plus side Wigan now have fuck all in their squad who looks like they could keep them up. Rodegella and Moses maybe decent but they have no one providing them any service, surely their time is up.
  22. The draw is tonight, starting at around 7:00pm and the European round will be drawn at around 8:20pm. I have a feeling we will end up being in the same group as Scotland.
