I'm watching the Scottish FA Cup final right now, and you know what, it's great. I'm watching a game where contact is being made, tackles are going in, players are being pressured off the ball, going down to legal tackles and challenges, and it's all being allowed, so different to the game we now see in England. It's great to see real football being played. Both teams are going at it aswell.

Andy Gray, can this c#nt go any further up the top 4's ass? I mean have you seen how he starts to love any team in the top 4, should of seen the praise he had for Villa, then as soon as they dropped out they had lost it, same with Chelsea, he didn't give damn about them untill the Russain came along. I know how you feel, I was on another forum (non fooball-with a small football section), when one of them popped up to say I feel like Newcastle. To which I responded and said relegation is much worse, to which another replied saying how would you know? the interto cup isn't exactly like the champions league final. I responded by saying, how about the FA Cup?, and atleast Man Utd will wake up tommorrow and still be in the Premiership, and havn't had a season where they have lost nearly every game. Tonight was a one off, we had to lose loads of times this season to be where we are. P.S. We actually won the Intertoto Cup.

As it's difficult to make money out of a football club, I can't see Richard Branson entering the sport any time soon. He'd want to come in and be the best and most innovative, and given the level of investment that would require he'd be on until the day he dies. Only time I could possibly see him entering the game is if Clubs are allowed to negotiate their own TV deals, given he has the ideal platform to enter from. And to be honest, if he did come in and buy us we'd become even more of a laughing stock than we already are. Not only would we have virgin emblazoned across the top, I'm pretty sure he'd rename the ground as well. Virgin Park, the only stadium thats full of non virgins?

Martins, I really want him to stay, but I can't see it. Barton will go, but I think it may take a time to thrash out a deal for him, even though he's not wanted and clubs are coming in for him, I just see it being one of those ones that take ages for it to go through for no reason what so ever. I also hope Guthrie, Nolan, Ryan and Stephen Taylor, Beye, and Krul stay. I wouldn't mind Jonas staying, I think he could do us a great job in the Championship.

Ashley has taken it, to be fair no one would of known how bad Ashley has been, but I doubt even Ashley did. I think it has a lot to do with inexperience and putting clueless people in charge, it all seemed to be going well with Mort.

I would love us to play Rangers, because I know a couple of Rangers fans, not so much Celtic as we have played them too many times in the past. I would also love to see a return of the Newcastle/Gateshead Cup.

I really don't care about the cups this season, we should focus on promotion, so if we went out in the 1st rounds of them both I wouldn't mind, unless it was to Sunderland, or a League1 or 2 team, or Doncaster, I'll get a bit of stick if we went out against Doncaster. I'm really hoping that I get a ticket away to Donny, and it's not when I'm on hoilday, I have family down their, and a friend of the family who is a Celtic supporter said he would go to the Donny game with me and cheer us on. I'm going to see if he'll go to the Sheffield games and the Barnsley game aswell. Good news about BBC though, hopefully we will have a large coverage by BBC and Sky, I think that maybe viewing figures for the Championship may actually go up this season as we are in, shame Leeds didn't come up, it would of been one hell of a league, and more interesting then the EPL.

It depends on if Ashley has the funds to give to us and if he will, however I don't think he has with SportsWorld losing soo much money over the last couple of years and him wanting to buy a good part of JJB ahead of putting money into Newcastle. I don't see the point in saying yes to a consortium or someone who will be in the same boat as ashley regarding investment. If someone like Bill Gates came along with a few £100m then yes, maybe we should write a letter to Sir Richard Branson, he has his fingers in every pie but a football club, I won't be botherd if we get a top saying virgin across it, just means SJP will have free phone bills and broadband.
