Come and join us at Liberty, check out the N-O meet up thread.

And Spurs at home before that.

Edwards is saying that capacity and design is not set in stone, and insists a decision over a new stadium or an expansion of SJP hasn’t been made. I can’t see the whole tweet, because Twitter.
-
Yeah, by League standings, we only have 1 Europa League spot.
-
It is. It makes me glad that we never did build John Halls Leazes Park stadium. If we did, I think it would have been only a little better than the flat packs we see from that era, and would have been an early version of the Emirates which is lacking in facilities compared to the likes of Spurs.
-
Yes. It would also however depend on the League Cup winners finishing 6th or above.
-
As someone else has said, it clearly indicates that we are going on Castle Leazes, which is where I have said we would go all along. 65k capacity is a bit of a downer, it’s 5k less than I would ideally want. Hopefully though it has room for expansion, and it shouldn’t really be leaving us behind others, which SJP is now doing to us.
-
If it is 65k, then I hope it has the ability to be expanded fairly easily if required.

Houchen, the Teesside mayor is claiming that the government has told the Saudi’s not to invest in the North East.

This is it, or at least a retake.

What is required?

Newcastle United in a cup final against a Sky 6 club at the weekend, best try and upset a few of their players.
-
It’s the fact that there is no evidence that he’s double hit it. With Mitro it was clear on the replay that he had, although I do agree that a retake should be used in the case of unintended second touches.

Just watching Reff Watch on TNT. The guy in VAR was going to clear the Man Utd red card for Dorgu until the assistant in the VAR booth said it was a bad challenge. They are 100% corrupt.
-
VAR, and PSR all doing their work to keep the status quo, and making the end product shitter. It’s a shame, because if both of those were implemented in the same way, it would make things much more competitive and better quality. VAR has done fuck but show the incompetence and corruption of the officials in my opinion.
-
It’s not impossible to tell. From both those angles, he hasn’t double touched it.
-
Not sure I’d have been able to control myself as an Atletico player there.
-
That’s a disgrace that. I’d be raging if that went against us on Sunday. Probably the worst decision I have seen in football.
-
Eh, there is no evidence that there was a double touch.
-
That’s a fucking dive that.

I was doing a job around the back of their place today. I know I keep on saying how stadiums of Sunderland’s age will soon need to start major renovation, but fuck me it’s looking like it does for them. The roof is filthy. It and the cantilever beams could all do with a repaint. You have air vents with slats missing. It also amazes me that for a relatively new stadium, it has absolutely no facilities built into it. Staff offices, and the club store/ticket office are all in a building of their own in the car park. If you owned them, and had money, you’d be looking at replacing the stadium stand by stand to be honest. Vastly outdated, and it’s not 30 years old yet.

Haha, certainly not, although it is good to see a younger generation supporting non-league football. The number 9 for North Shields seems to have potential, although North Shields have no idea to make the most of him, especially in the second half where he appeared to be playing on the left wing.

That wall must get painted every fucking week.
