For what it’s worth, just before the day of the final, I saw a yellow open top bus with a picture of cups on where the route is usually displayed on a bus parked at the Go Ahead Percy Main depot.

I was heading into town on the Metro. Everyone in Newcastle United colours, even students with accents not from the area. Getting into town and people were gathering in bars, but the rest of the streets were empty, you just felt that this city was going to explode come the end of the day.
