Not to excuse it, but there was videos of PSG fans hitting people in the streets of Newcastle before the match.

I’m not convinced Madrid are out of this. If any team is capable of winning a 2nd leg 4-0 then it’s them, and if any team is capable of letting a sure thing slip through in the 2nd leg, then it’s Arsenal.

Wrexham is a forgotten working class town lacking in investment. It’s had nothing to shout about for decades. For the town I wish them well, however I don’t think their model is unsustainable in the Championship. I think they will have to change tactic in terms of recruitment and outside investors once again.

As much as I’m glad they won because it confirms England’s 5th place, even though it was happening in anyway, I want them to lose. I want all the English teams to lose and go out. The Champions League I don’t want any other English team to win because of jealousy, the Europa League, or Conference League I’m less concerned about, but the clubs left are Man Utd, Spurs, and Chelsea, so fuck them.

Aye, they even look shit, and that’s getting away from them being nothing but filler shirts during very darks days of Ashley. Absolutely nothing of the Ashley era should be offered up as a retro edition. The club should move well on from that period of time.

Aye, I paid £50 for it during lockdown.

The mini one or the full sized one. I bought the full sized one during lockdown. It’s a bastard, it comes in different bags, but the bags are not labelled, and they are not sorted in stages like with regular Lego. So you have to open all the bags from the off.

New Oddballs underwear available. For what it’s worth, the original version is now available for kids, and women, including a bra.

Baseball jerseys are not the same thing as American football shirts or basketball shirts. I believe there was a discussion about a Letterman jacket, again not the same thing at all.

4. We’d go above them on goals scored.

Honestly the whole ‘We’ll drop this is a few days/weeks time, and once it sells it’s gone’ was a pisstake. The Gazelles, and the originals products were a big example of this. The 95-97 shirt has had poor availability since its launch. I understand that we need to release stuff across the season to keep merchandise income spread out, rather than just front loaded at May/August time, with a little increase towards Christmas time. I just feel a bit more forewarning of those products would have been helpful. I do think that overall though we are still lacking on merchandise, but I guess it’s going to take years to start selling rights to different suppliers for different items, and for those companies to start recognising us as a viable brand to work with. It was nice to see us team up with Oddballs for instance, which is a company who have teamed up with most football clubs, and considering Steve Harper is one of the co-owners of them, it’s surprising that we already didn’t team up with them. As for our shirts. I don’t think the home shirt was inspired by the right one, however I guess it was the only historic shirt that we could draw inspiration from that would fit to Adidas’ template for this season. Next seasons template doesn’t seem to have changed much, so we’ll likely see similar, even if we do get the Northumbrian Tartan look on it. In saying this, our cup win will make it instantly iconic. Selling the final edition, and the Champions edition will mean that some people will have 2/3 editions of the same shirt, and with it just simply being tournament badges, numbering, and lettering, it means the club will have been able to shift quite a bit of excess stock at full price. The away shirt was always going to be an easy win. I don’t think it will be particularly remembered as it’s not really featured in an iconic moment/match, but an easy win. I think next season we’ll have an re-issue of our original shirt of that colour scheme, much like the 95-97 home shirt this season. The 3rd shirt I think became surprisingly more popular than it was intended. Maybe it was old school club badge, I don’t know. Initially I thought it wasn’t all that, but ended up liking it more in person and getting myself.

They already have. The Saudi’s bought a company at Teesport and it’s now part of SABIC.

I’m not sure I agree. You have always had boring games, and generally boring teams. You can point to the lack of a title battle and relegation battle this season as it being boring, but in previous seasons the title race has went all the way to the end. This is probably the early the relegation battle has finished granted, but generally it’s a bit more closer at the bottom, heck a couple of seasons ago we had a situation where 2 out of 3 teams could go down on the final day. This season the battle for Europe is possibly the biggest it’s ever been, and in the last 2 years both ourselves and Aston Villa have broken into the top 4, with Nottingham Forest likely to do so this year.

It will hit different. You know that we get taken over, you know Bruce is peddled, you know Howe comes in, you know we stay up, you know we get to a cup final and Champions League football, you know we give it a hell of a go the following season with some players starting to become icons, you know we win the League cup with players becoming legends. The full Bruce/Ashley experience is believing none of that happens, not being able to believe that there is a way out, and you have Andy Carroll coming on in the 90th minute to either get a late consolation goal, or to rescue something from the game.

I’ve got Bein on, don’t know who the main commentator is, but Andy Townsend is the co-commentator. Might have to launch the TV out the window at half time when hairy hands comes on though.

Still getting Brighton and Bournemouth away on Saturday 12:30pm, and Monday night KO’s, if not the few midweek games they have planned. We’ll get Everton away as their first game midweek under the lights in their new stadium. Anfield on Boxing Day.

Closed league. I was having this conversation with your dad ahead of the final.

Isn’t West Ham fairly close to Tottenham?

Southampton relegated.

How the fuck have Brentford not scored there?
