  1. Don’t you fucking dare. It’s Newcastle, another 4 goals would swing the other way.
  2. We were the better team, gifted them one of the weakest goals ever.
  3. I honestly do not think anything that hits your elbow or above should be handball. I’d be furious if that penalty went against us, even if by letter of the law it is one.
  4. Got draws against Man City, and Liverpool this season after going behind against both. That’s just off the top of my head.

We’d need spades in the ground by the end of 2026 I’d imagine.

Nah. If anything, Adidas will be flying in to send people over to watch the match, and sign off on next seasons designs and product catalog. If it’s anything to do with them, that is.
  7. I woke up during the night, so ended up watching it. He was tearing it up in the 1st half. If someone had made the pass to him in the 2nd half then he would have been 1 v 1 against the keeper and almost certainly have scored. He was sort of robbed of an assist for Atlanta’s 2nd goal. His header on almost fell for Latte Lath, only for the keeper to get a slight touch on it and push it more towards Latte Lath who scored.

I’d imagine the club will be keeping a hold of that so they can build a permanent fanzone, with maybe a couple of hotels. In reality the club could easily fit on a fanzone, a couple of hotels, and either some apartments, or offices. You also have to factor in the Metro station there as well.
  9. Absolute no need to be doing a freeze frame for so long and then adjusting the exact moment the ball is played. The defender is playing him on by about 3 yards.
  10. Why the fuck are they even checking that? He was fucking miles onside.
  11. He’s fucking well onside.

It’s more of a case of the RTG’s creating game by game threads congratulating themselves on their attendances despite the figure being quoted being much higher than what is visibly there. Often a figure that they can only achieve having the top tier open and it’s officially closed is used. They also have a go at other teams’ attendances despite their supporters paying much more on average per match ticket. If they were getting 44k-49k with ticket prices at £30 or so, everyone would turn around and say it’s a good turnout. They aren’t though, their average ticket cost is £11 with the top tier closed, and £9 with their top tier open because so many are given away (and not used), and they clearly are getting no more than 30k in attendance.
  13. York have scored in the 10th minute of stoppage time to come from 2-0 to rescued a draw against Halifax. Obligatory @Yorkie shoutout.
  14. That Leeds squad was nowhere near Premier League quality. How they got up, and stayed up is beyond me. They absolutely wasted the opportunity with the money they earned. Now they have a team that looks nothing special, with a manager who if he doesn’t shit himself at the prospect of going up, will shit himself when they do go up.
