  1. This is the nail on the head. I’ve said it before, but considering Leeds have their takeover, so do Everton, and West Ham who have an investor who has first refusal on them, Sheffield Wednesday are the last of the English sleeping giants who long term could force their way into the top clubs. They stand fuck all in that prospect now. I’m not saying Ashley would have got them there, but out of all their options he was the most likely. This guy is very much like the non-league owners who bought Sunderland on the premise that they would pay Ellis Short if they ever hit the jackpot and got into the Premier League. He’ll not last more than 3 years before it fucks up again.
  2. I don’t agree, but I see where you are coming from. Out of all the options they have, he was their best one, which is a very grim prospect. The only thing he has over them is that he would be able sustain the club during turmoil, you don’t get that impression with their preferred bidders.
  3. He’s already been involved in Sheffield United with an AI company who apparently were the ones who said they should sack Wilder. He owns Dunfermline and has done nothing significant there, and has a minority interest in other clubs. He’s a fucking chancer who’s hoping he can somehow assemble a squad good enough to get to the Premier League and cash in.
  4. Poker player chosen as a preferred bidder, that just screams financial security. Sheffield Wednesday need a whole new team, probably a new manager, and a new stadium, be it a rebuild or new location. What the fuck is a poker player going to do to be able to appoint all that? Just another guy who’s hoping to hit it lucky and flip them.
  5. In all fairness, he’d be fucking stupid to go to West Ham in January. Concert will likely go up, and West Ham will likely go down.
  6. Everyone else nabs the good ones, and you’re left with the shitty bounty coffee crunch that no one wants.
  7. Nah, this is just to keep the current facilities ticking over and doing enough now to attract decent youth prospects.

    St James' Park

At a time when everyone else is getting craft breweries in. At the very least get Heineken in, Heineken, Brown Ale, and Beavertown.
  9. It’s locked down. You have to be a member to see anything now and they have locked down registrations.
  10. Reddit Liverpool bots are crying and everyone of any other team discussing it are being downvoted.
  11. We also play Birmingham City next on the 11th January.
  12. Aye she was, one of the few good ones I’ve seen so far this season.
  13. I’m going to have to say it, he offers us nothing that Miggy didn’t.
  14. Kluivert would have been an ideal buy for us in the summer. No fucking chance Bournemouth let him go in January. Ideally we do need someone in central midfield who can score and create things a bit more, but we also need to work on our wings, especially RW. That’s not going to happen though with Elanga being a recent arrival. We’ll probably bow out of the race to get Trafford as well in order to get a WB or 2.
  15. The only way we were going to score again.
  16. Yeah, same story for a long time, even in the lower leagues when we were smashing teams 10-0, we would miss a fuck load of chances. We really need to invest in January, because games at this level are tight.
  17. She’s the only one who can score, she’s probably our best prospect, but she also often drifts wide and out of her actual position. I also don’t think she’s invested in the club. Her social media is all about former team mates, former clubs, international team, and her going off on holiday every other week. There is fuck all about NUFC in it compared to the other lasses at the club.
  18. We’ve been the better team, but our finishing is so poor. We really need reinforcements in January.
  19. Fuck sake, why the fuck man? 1-1.
  20. Genuinely think that if we go up, we should play our games at SJP next season, unless we can convince the Redbulls to install a grass pitch.
  21. Probably holding back Gateshead as well, well did a couple of years ago.
  22. New training ground complex with a mini stadium like Man City’s Etihad campus. Apparently Seaton Burn is 1 of 2 potential sites, with them possibly completing a deal to buy the site before the end of this year.
  23. They could have went level on points with Celtic with a win, although Celtic would have had a game in hand.
  24. Gateshead is fucking mess for the lasses and our attendances have dropped massively due to it. Bring on the Seaton Burn complex.
  25. It’s terrible and happens in all their broadcasts.
