With clubs having to sign sponsorship deals and transfer deals with related parties at below market value, it makes absolute sense that related parties and shareholder loans should only be offered at rates worse than the market value.

He plays to a system that would suit Howe, a high press, tracking back, but has the end product that Almirón didn’t.

Kubo’s release clause is lower, and I think he would suit us much better. No fan or club should really have to consider this, but such as the world we live in now, he could also attract fans from Asia.

Nah. I believe in transparency towards fans, however things like this are subjects where it is damaging to share too much information. I don’t think you can go into too much detail about things like this without risking alerting your competitors to what you have.

I see that they have released a limited edition black with rainbow trim equality away shirt. That will go down well.

And that’s net spend. Remember the likes of Liverpool usually sell a star striker to bring in a foreign star striker for much less, Torres, Suarez etc, as well as selling to Saudi clubs for fortunes. Chelsea buy every teenager in the academies of other clubs before they are 16, then sell them as soon as they hit their 20’s. Meanwhile we have never been able to purchase a decent player to begin with, and our academy prospects like Bobby Clark are poached by the likes of Liverpool before they flog him on for a profit, and when we do have a semi-decent player and wish to sell to Saudi, we have to absolutely stunt the fee to ridiculously low levels for the Premier League to say that it’s fair.

We all know that they will. A little bit of INEOS lobbyist here, a little bit of the required Labour donation there, add on a sprinkle of it being the governments flagship project for the North.

Injury time, must mean Celtic song time again.

No they can’t. If either cup winner has already qualified for Europe via the league, then it falls down to the league placings. The fact that we ended up losing out on Europe last season should have made our fans more aware of the rules to be honest.
-
They will appoint someone else who will have a decent season, then end up sacking him either during the 2nd season, or just after.
-
We play them 2 and a half weeks before the final. Play some kids and get them to break some fucking legs.
-
Absolutely no one expects them to.
-
That’s a fucking red card.

I’ve been thinking about that, not really a bad thing. IF we were to win it, obviously everyone would prefer black & white stripes, but our current away shirt colour scheme is probably the best we could wish for as an alternative.

We don’t know yet. There is a draw done later on to determine who gets the home dressing room, and who gets which side.

I thought last night was very similar to how we have dealt with Arsenal in recent games, and also how others have as well. If they don’t get that early goal, or your defence is rather solid, they will run out of ideas. Once Martinelli went off last night, they ran out of ideas. There was no real goal attempts from them after that. You could see them start to playing it sideways, going back to their back line, looking for that outlet on the right, but not finding it. They well and truly ran out of ideas, and because we had the cushion and could just sit and watch them play the ball from left to right, and back again, they never had that opportunity to play a through ball or anything that could open a team up.

I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to get some dirt cheap Ryanair tickets from Dublin. What makes you think you are getting tickets for a Lazio vs Frankfurt final in anyway?
-
Fucking hell, can you imagine the scenes if Sunderland fans find this out. The train will be bricked.
-
That atmosphere last night, now let’s imagine that the noise doesn’t disappear into the sky, and has another 18,000 people joining in.
-
It sounded class on TV throughout last night. Those there did the step up that was required.

After the first semi-final, I saw an advertisement for a train going down to Wembley. If it’s legit, I can only think that it would be going across the Tyne Valley line, and switching onto the WCML to go down via that way.

I honestly think it’s so easy to wind Arsenal up, mostly down to the fact that they wind themselves up as soon as things don’t start going their way. If the match carried on for any longer, one of their players would have seen red, Rice actually should have been sent off for his challenge on Bruno. How Bruno managed to bounce up and celebrate instead of turning to knock him out is beyond me. Partey is another who is lucky that he never saw the back of a jail cell red.
